The Chocolate Ear was started over six years ago, quite by accident. I'd made some Millionaires Shortbread and then created a page around it, thinking that no one would bothered with it.
How wrong was I?
I next found a recipe for chocolate fudge and posted the pictures. It created a lot of interest and I was so shocked when people actually wanted to buy it.
Gradually more and more products were developed and added. It soon became very busy and for a number of years it was really busy.
My hubby has always had health issues; he has a number of chronic conditions, mainly as a consequence of being a Type 1 Diabetic for over 50 years.
Eighteen months ago his Kidney Transplant started to fail, followed by a lot more complications which meant I had to mothball my page.
He's in remission at the moment, so it looked like an ideal opportunity to revive The Chocolate Ear.
I learned a lot of valuable lessons from before which I intend to capitalise on to try and make sure that The Chocolate Ear is around for a very long time.
All my goodies are made with the finest ingredients and where ever possible, organic.
All the friends of The Chocolate Ear are going to be involved in development of new products this time and I look forward to hearing comments, views and ideas.
