About The Chocolate Museum

The only place in London where you can make, taste and learn about chocolate.

The Chocolate Museum Description

The Chocolate Museum is an independent museum established by Isabelle Alaya, a French artisan chocolatier, who started her own brand, Melange Chocolate, in 2008.

Our mission is to inspire a passion for learning about quality chocolate and its history both in Britain and worldwide.

Located in the heart of vibrant Brixton, The Chocolate Museum is a unique place in London where you can make, taste and learn about chocolate.

We run a very dynamic programme of workshops for kids, adults, the whole family, schools, holiday clubs, home education, corporate groups and special occasions. The programme includes special dates for half term and summer holidays.

The museum has a permanent exhibition with range of objects and memorabilia acquired over many years from different merchants and collectors. We also have important books with valuable information about chocolate.

The menu includes hot chocolates, drinks, a unique selection of chocolates and the drop-in chocolate making sessions for adults and kids when anybody can come and make your own chocolate truffles and lollies, using good quality chocolates, fillings and a nice range of decorations.

We also hold events with food, chocolate demonstrations by expert chocolatiers or bean-to-bar makers and drop-in workshops.
