The quaintness dates from 1329 when stonemasons built the inn to house them while they built St Mary’s church alongside. They needed comfortable accommodation, good food and fine ales. Today, the Church House Inn's reputation for good food, select wines and fine local ales and ciders attracts visitors from all over the world.
