Saint Augustine's is a magnificent 19th Century building that was designed by G. F Bodley. Our stunning church is locally known as the 'Miners Cathedral' and is a Grade 1 Listed building.
Saint Augustine's is firmly established within the Catholic Tradition of the Church of England and is recognised as a Forward in Faith Parish.
