Gert lush Cottage Pie tonight at the cider barn from 19:00..... £7..... Bargain comfort food for all.....

this is a place to go for a few drinks really nice and friendly. if your down chedar way this is a must.

We were staying locally on a mini weekend break and this place is brilliant. Dog friendly, fab customer service made to feel welcome from the minute we walked in lots and lots of cider (even an option to take away back to your lodge/cottage etc). The food was beautiful, home cooked and definitely no skimping on portions thank you for a fab weekend guys

We have just spent a week at the Blue Chip holiday park Strawberry fields that adjoins the Cider Barn, they have no real connection other than Jason, Donna, Red and Cassie all make you very welcome. I have to say that the locals were very pleasant toward us as well. We took our two teenage boys with us this time as it was our third year running that we have visited the Cider Barn, they were made very welcome by all concerned and they loved it. The food is great with about ten choices of pub grub style food, the boys had home made Pizza and said it was great. I had the Chilli, nothing Chilly about it. It was a hot chilli boasting locally grown Chillies and comes with rice (and chips as a side order) beware though it is hot but amazing. My other half had Beef and Beer casserole with big wedges of bread, again she said it was lovely!! We also went to the Steak night on Thursday, beautiful steaks cooked the way you like it with lovely chips. This is a Cider Barn and as such is not like a Wetherspoons or other pub chains, it welcomes you in to the barn with lots of quirky pictures and scribblings on the wall. A bar area that can get busy, sofas, tables and chairs inside an out. Picnic benches and brollies to the front and rear of the Barn. On occasions the language can be slightly riper than the Cider the apples are made with but hey it’s a Cider Barn. If this may offend you in any way then close your ears and enjoy the fun and laughter that rings throughout !! The drinks and food are very reasonable in price and the portions are good, try the Cider Barn, I think you will like it. Thanks to Jason and your team for making us feel so welcome, see you again.

We had two cracking nights out in the cider barn, great atmosphere, music and the bar staff were a great laugh, they even found it funny that we had to put on a torch on our phones because we were sitting in the dark, due to one of the acts waiting to go on for the open mic... Definitely recommend to anyone who wants a great night out.. Thanks

Visited this place lunchtime today,would give it 6 stars if i could,enjoyed this hut that serves cider,my wife lynne and myself had a huge ploughmans lunch,reasonably priced,found the people very welcolming, friendly and talkative, john wrench from Bedford.

Truly incredible place. Everything about it was warm, welcoming and friendly. Jason is a brilliant landlord. The selection of ales and ciders were second to none. Had a great evening and couldn't recommend it enough to anyone.

Thanks for a great lunch and a welcome of the highest order...looked after the pup..as soon as we walked in...Will be back...

Thank you for such a warm welcome for everyone who was taking part and organising Town and Country Harriers Third Butcombe Trail Ultra. Your food is outstanding and along with some awesome cider. I hope to see you next year.

Second time I've been to The Cider Barn.

Staff are always really friendly and more than happy to go through the good selection of cider to choose from.

Had a lovely pizza the first time we went too.

Qwerky little place full of character made to feel at home instantly. Cider bloody lovely especially the rhubarb one... Mmmm. Like to say thanks to Justin for awesome chilli �and my old fella getting a bit drunk on 3 ciders... 7.4 per pint.. Lol

Here till Friday no doubt be back for more cider �����. Old man birthday morrow c u for a drink then... �

One of the best and friendliest drinking establishments I have ever been to. The cider and ales are awesome too. I shall be definitely going back.

My wife and myself were celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary (stopping at Tor farm) last weekend, and decided to 'pop in' for a drink.. all we can say is.. it was amazing, the decor, the bar staff and ALL the punters were SO welcoming and friendly.. also a big thank you to the guy who gave up his 10p to help us out with the change,(you know who you are).. next time we're down, we will definitely be spending longer there than we did.. Great bar, great people, delicious food , awesome cider . What more could you wish for...didn't get to try the scotch eggs! : (.... or attend a live music event but the chilli was spot on . Don't drive by without stopping... unless you have to

Friendly, lazy, happy atmosphere, a place that should be on everyone's 'places to check out' list.

A superb little fund! It is what it says on the tin, a barn that sells cider! Brilliant atmosphere! Great staff! Several different ciders which they let you try before you buy, they also know which ones to mix to give you an even better drink! Only been in area 3 days and have been there three times! Also do take out cider which is lush!!!

A party of 12 guys went for the steak night. It was one of the best steak nights we have had for a long time. Nina was very helpful and Jason the owner was a real gent. Thoroughly recommend steak night on a thursday �
