What a fantastic way to spend an afternoon. Short history of Manchester and origins of gin followed by look at the production of their own craft gin and then an opportunity to create your own gin, Absolutely brilliant. Should n't forget to mention there were more than half a dozen gins and cocktails to endure throughout the presentation. The sacrifice was well worth it though.

What a fantastic way to spend a day. I wasn't sure what to expect but found that the whole experience both informative and fun. Perfectly hosted by Joe & Cherelle, i would recommend the tour to anyone

Went to the gin making last night and have to say it was a fantastic night and would highly recommend it to anyone. Learnt about the history of gin and the chance to make our own and bring it home - what a fabulous idea!

This is up there with best our gin experience was truly amazing and the tour guide Joe was second to none this is defo the place to go on a visit to Manchester 5stars all the way.

This is a fantastic tour/school and I would definitely recommend it. It's really informative and Pete gives you all the background and history as to were gin comes from, up to the current day. The cocktails and gin samples you get are also lovely! Then you get to brew your own and take it home which was really fun to look at the difference botanicals and flavours to use.

The gin it's self is one of my favourites. If you love gin this is the tour for you.

The Gin Experience is well named but should really be called The Great Gin Experience. The history, the tour and explanation of the production of gin and the making of our own unique bottle was second to none. My wife and I would thoroughly recommend this to anyone, not just gin drinkers.

Cannot recommend enough �

Just got back from a fantastic evening at the gin experience at Manchester Three Rivers. Brilliantly hosted by Joe, fantastic drinks and came home with our own custom bottle.

It's #1 on the list of things to do in Manchester on tripadvisor for a reason, it's very well done. Thoroughly enjoyed it! Benefit of hindsight, my only advice would be, don't go on an empty stomach....

It takes ages get a spot on the gin experience for good reason....it's brilliant!



We were hosted by Joe, who clearly takes great pride in the company, and in the product they are producing....which is the smoothest gin I have ever tasted. I've never enjoyed straight gin as it's too rough, but this was a joy.



The tour comprises of a brief history of Manchester, and from this you can see how Three Rivers is proud of their Manc base....even naming their still after the area of the railway arch in which it is housed.

After a discussion about how gin is distilled, and seeing the amazing kit that is 'Angel', it's back upstairs to distil your own unique gin. There are plenty of botanicals to choose from, and you can mix and match 'til your heart's content. This isn't just a cup of gin you walk away with either...it's a full on 700ml bottle!



All in all, this was an excellent experience, even rave worthy. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a good night out, whether you like gin or not. (if you don’t, this may just well turn you!)

If anyone is looking for something different to do in Manchester or the surround areas, I can not recommend these guys enough. We bought my mum a gin tour for Christmas! First off you see the price and think WOW £100 for a gin tour but I can honestly say it was the best £100 I’ve spend. The Experiance was first class! From the moment you walked in the the minute you walk out you will be on a absolute awe!

I spent my 32nd birthday here yesterday and absolutely loved it! I cannot recommend the Gin Experience enough...I am already trying to think of an "excuse" to go back � Anyone who loves gin will love it even more after the Gin Experience xxx

Gin experience..... WOW, we had a brilliant day and we loved every min of it. Joe was fantastic and Sherel made some gorgeous gins. We never went without a drink and was able to make our own bottle with our flavours. Deffo recommend! �

Fantastic evening at Three Rivers Gin! Informative and great fun. Not only do you learn about how gin is produced, you get to make your own bottle to take home! Plenty of drinks through the evening, so make sure you’ve eaten first!

Did the 3 hour distillery experience last week with my sister in law and it was fantastic! The evening, led by Joe, was extremely interesting, funny and informative from start to finish.



Joe was a fantastic host. We were given plenty of opportunities to try the gin, along with a cocktail and a couple of shots too, before going on to brew our own uniquely created botanical beauty.



Worth every penny and highly recommended.

Came last night as a belated birthday present and had such a good evening!!! From the minute you arrive getting a delicious gin and tonic to making your own. Such a great experience that I would highly recommend.

Joe & Sherel were brilliant at keeping the drinks flowing & making everyone feel at ease from the beginning. I can only apologise for us out staying our welcome at the end and not wanting the night to be over!!

Brilliant experience if you’re a gin lover , my son bought it me for Christmas, we both had fabulous time and came out very happy indeed! The staff work so hard to make sure you have a good time , Peter and John were exceptional , so if you love you’re gin “book it!!”

An excellent way to celebrate my hubby's birthday. It was interesting to learn about the history and process of gin making and to be able to create our own personalised bottle of gin was fab. Thanks Joe for a fab afternoon. And Three Rivers Gin tastes amazing! ��
