Went there yesterday for dinner. Lovely pleasant atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious. Had the asparagus and boiled egg for starter, one of the best starters I’ve ever had! For main had the fish and chips and it was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this place. The food was delicious, would definitely return there!

Went in after the service of remembrance. Lovely to sit surrounded by those in the armed forces .

We had a great lunch here. Their fish and chips were amazing. Huge portions and the triple crisp chips were the most amazing things ever. The mashed peas with mint were also a also a pleasant surprise. Service was good, although a bit slow. I would certainly go back, especially if I had more time.

We came to London with my family! We popped in here for a bite to eat after sight seeing all day! We had 4 adults and 4 kids but it wasn't a problem for the staff who found us a table in the restaurant. We may have caused a little disruption for the couples trying to have a romantic meal but we were made to feel truely welcome.



The food was great and we went home satisfied with smiles on our faces! Thank you to all for making our visit special!

This pub was great! I was able to book a party of 10 for drinks and lite bites. A lovely spot was reserved when we arrived, there was a good selection of drinks and some very nice pub food. Staff was attentive and polite. Plus, the pub was lively but not overly crowded or loud. This is definitely a place I will go again.

Super, really enjoyed the lovely cheese platter, made for sharing, but I could have eaten it all by myself!!!! Enjoyed it with a lovely glass of cool rosé, my grandson had children's pasta dish, yummy, real pasta sauce.....

Popped in for lunch it was beautiful. Sharing platter of baked camembert and sourdough bread was perfect. Mackerel pate was exceptional

Nice pub, we dined upstairs, the menu was more versatile than in closeby pubs and the food good.

Made to feel very welcome even with the dog (who got a bowl of water immediately after we sat down). Very traditional feeling pub, the food and service were both excellent! We both had a sandwich for lunch - very tasty and substantial. Wouldn't hesitate to return or to recommend.

Loved our lunch at this pub yesterday stumbled across after a visit to Parliament and a stroll to see Downing Street � fab service greeted nicely when we walked in directed to restaurant middle floor the tin belly one beautiful decor loved the map ceiling and burger was fab not greasy just perfectly cooked too we for sure will return perfect service by lovely waitress and not too long await for food FABULOUS

Great fish and chips. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was what you would expect from a British Pub. Very nice place to eat and have a pint.

By far one of the best places we ate in London. Staff was attentive and friendly, tables were cleaned off quickly, food was delicious and the drinks were perfect! I had the Meantime Lager which was so good and paired perfectly with the fish and chips. Finished my meal with the sticky toffee pudding (which was a first for me to try) and was the right amount of sweetness. The decor was comforting -not too dark, not too bright. I wish we would have tried it as soon as we got to London because I would have gone more than once. It's definitely a plus for anyone visiting. We plan on visiting London more and this will be #1 on places to eat at!!

Had the fish and chips really nice but the peas were cold! Waitress did bring me more though wine very expensive for a glass so stuck to beer! Could do with a bit more choice on menu service great!

Great food, great vibe - the only thing I can somewhat negatively remark on was that our waiter seemed quite distracted, but I do realise that he was the only waiter on the floor that evening and the dining room was pretty busy.

After strolling around London most of the afternoon We stopped for a late lunch. The atmosphere was pretty good but price wise a little over the top! The Pie and Mash was excellent but could have been accompanied by some vegetables. Wine was priced at £25 a bottle which was typical of the area but was very nice . Overall I would recommend a visit but take the price into account!

We only had a drink but being told the table which was empty was really god people eating but if only having 1 drink we could sit there

There was 6 of us with 3 people having Health issues which hinders them in climbing stairs it was more convenient for us to sit downstairs. We felt they were only really interested in customers wanting to eat but we were shown the downstairs toilet which was helpful

Enjoyed the drinks but for me the menu left a lot to be desired. It was very basic choices. The service and the staff was great and very helpful and considerate.
