My sister and I both had our mehndi parties at Clay Oven Banqueting suites and we had it very similar with ladies only and female waiting staff. Food was amazing, decor was great and service was fab! Love the place and will always recommend!

Our main events manager Nitesh Goyal was excellent at providing an amazing service on the night. The food was delicious and served steaming hot and on time just the way I wanted and the atmosphere was lovely. Many of our guests commented on how amazing the food was and how good the service from the staff was on the day. The key differentiator for us when making our decision to go with Clay Oven was their service throughout the lead up to the wedding day (and not just the day itself). Jay always answered our queries quickly (which helped with our planning and my control freak nature!) and they were flexible when we had unusual requests. I would highly recommend Clay Oven to anyone looking for a caterer for their big event. They do not only provide good catering but they also provide good customer service which is what makes them stand out.

The staff were always at hand especially Kas and the catering staff. They would go out of their way to ensure everything was perfect.



The food was amazing, the only feedback we had from the guests was requests for refills!



The venue looked immaculate and had a magical feel about it, leaving the bride and groom feeling very special.

12 people per table and the starters that did arrive were only for 4 people, had to keep on chasing the waiters to get everybody served.

One and a half hour delay between stater and main course and again only 3 naan breads for a table of 12, had to keep chasing the waiters to be served.

Did complain to the manager who denied everything and said all was good and basically told us to get lost as everything had been paid for in advance.

Strongly not recommended to anyone who is planing to book there event here ,I felt like I been cheated by them specially the manager Nitesh ,he don’t bother about any customer service and also when I ask for the full invoice of the payment he is not willing to give me the invoice ,worst experience I had in my wedding so upset with the service they provided ,complete waste of money !

I feel I have been cheated by the Clay Oven Wembley events team. I booked an event for myself and my child for the NYE 2014 which cost £95 . My daughter fell sick and I had to cancel it, I was told that I will not get my refund but the money will be adjusted in the next event. The next event was for Valentines day which cost a lot less than the first event. I asked the Clay Oven management to compensate my money by allowing me to bring an extra person, but the manager Kas aggressively and rudely declined my request over and over again. I felt cornered and trap to be forced to attend an event that I did not even want to go to in the first place and was not allowed to bring another person to make up for the amount I paid. I declined their offer and still have not received my £95. They make the prices as they go along and do not seem to have any consistent rules. Kas was very difficult to communicate with. Very rude and highly unprofessional. He had no regards for customer service or the trading law whats so ever. He had my money and as far as he was concerned he was calling the shots.

Very disappointed.

The owner, Neal, talks a great game - an articulate and convincing guy, he gives confidence that he is set up to cater for large scale and upmarket events.

The food tasting was so appallingly bad that we immediately cancelled our booking. The food looked so unappetising - full of oil, chock full of spice in attempt to disguise the taste, and appallingly presented - no one would want to put this food on their plate at a wedding. After the tasting, 5 of our 6 family members who attended were sick with food poisoning. The staff were unprofessional and poorly trained and could not make any decisions without the owner there. Finally, the crockery and cutlery was of the most basic standard imagine - dirty, cheap wine glasses, basic knives and forks - think Asda's bargain basement level. Not at all what you would want on your wedding day, which should be the most special day in your life. At the risk of our wedding being remembered for the wrong reasons - poor food, poor catering service and dirty crockery - we cancelled and looked for a better caterer. AVOID if you are looking for a professional wedding caterer who does the big things (food, service) as well as the small things (crockery) right.

Considered booking Clay Oven for my wedding catering. After a month of exchanging emails about booking a tasting session (no fault of there's around timing) we booked to take 4 people down one evening. Food was less than mediocre and service incredibly slow but this wasn't the worst thing. At the end of the meal we were presented with a £25 per head bill of which there was no mention of prior to or during the session. My issue is not the fact that they charge as costs need covering (although most of their competitors do not charge) but to not tell your guests who are mostly parties of 4 or more that they will be charged is highly discourteous and has made a terrible impression. Beware of hidden costs!
