Friendly welcome. Good real ales and I had a good beef sandwich. We had stopped off during a cycle trip across the Wolds. They do hot meals too.

Great ales at a good price, 2.90 for a Wicked Blonde :) Friendly owner and a superbly kept pool table. Proper English pub with wood everything. And the log fire was a welcome treat.
