Friendly staff and amazing food! Very, very dog friendly!

I cannot praise this amazing find of a real North Yorkshire hotel/ pub and restaurant. 0n 14th October I had my graduation/ 50th birthday party here with 16 guests of family and friends. "It was a truly wonderful occasion "
It was all due to the care and attention to detail and hospitality of the proprietors Ian and Rae and their truly dedicated staff.
They set up the room beautifully with my decorations and accommodated everyone's dietary requirements.
The food was fresh cooked to order, tasty and hot, with fabulous service. It is very rare these days to hit the jackpot of a beautiful old coaching inn with excellent service and exceptional food.
So thank you very much for a very memorable evening for my celebrations it was truly wonderful. 🤗🖒💖

Was staying locally on a holiday and saw the high reviews. We were not disappointed. The restaurant was lovely, service was good and the food was excellent. If you're in the area make sure to plan a meal here.

Some dishes were great, others not so much. Garlic burnt in Chicken Kiev but seafood platter was all good

Last minute decided to dine out at our favourite haunt Delicious smoked haddock crumble. I wasn't disappointed.
