Kicked out badly at 1am, after 5 minute I order my pint. I had to throw it away.. Not nice!

Great selection of cask and keg beers together with a nice choice of real ciders. Obviously has the bottles, wines and spirits you desire too and a beer garden out back.

Still one of my favourite Hackney haunts. Unpretentious, still a fine selection of keg and cask already and scrumptious ciders and usually 5 or 6 flavours of pickled eggs to choose from.

Friendly staff, good beer selection, great atmosphere. The "beer garden" looks more like a prison cell, but the pub itself is excellent.

Proper boozer, but with a seriously good selection of local beers. I've heard the pickle eggs are good too, and if you can eat one in less than 3 seconds you get your name on the wall. Do it.

One of the best craft beer pubs in London. Good, frequently changing range of beer. Great music at a perfect volume. Excellent friendly staff. Just be aware the "beer garden" definitely deserves the quotation marks they give it on the sign - don't travel here expecting to have a pint in the sun!

Great selection of beers. Very rustic. Loos not so lovely but the beer and atmosphere make up for them!

If you'll pardon the pun, The Cock is hard to beat. Have been coming here for years, and it's great every time. Outstanding beer and cider selection - always something new to try. Every time I walk in and see that vast array of pumps lined up along the length of the bar, my heart joyfully skips a beat. Buzzy atmosphere, interesting people, reasonable prices. What's not to like? One of the best pubs in Hackney.

Best selection of cask ales I've seen anywhere. Mostly crafts and generally cool place too.

Great beers and friendly service, but it's so dark we thought it was closed the first time we visited. Gloomy even on a summer afternoon.
