The Colliton Club hosts sporting and intellectual activities. There are 2 skittle alleys, dart boards, a snooker and pool table, table tennis, golf society and cricket team. A host of local clubs such as the chess club, scrabble club and camera club meet on a regular basis and other local societies such as the Lions and Foresters also hold meetings there.

There is a selection of "Real Ales" available in the 2 bars, and The Colliton Club has won Wessex Regional Club of the Year, awarded by CAMRA
