We’re in the middle of vintage train season on the The Keighley and Worth Valley Railway (official): on Sundays 22nd, 29th July and 5th August you can ride on some of the railways older rolling stock, much of which dates back to Victorian times. Alight at Haworth and within a few minutes you can be enjoying tea at The Cookhouse.

User

A tip for visitors to Haworth - Main Street is quieter earlier in the day and The Cookhouse serves a great breakfast from 9:30am!

User

Have you tried our tasty vegan cakes by Kay’s Kitchen in Keighley? Try great flavours like lotus biscuit cheesecake, coconut flapjack and gluten free lemon drizzle! There's something for everyone.

The first ever mention of a traditional ploughman’s meal of bread, cheese and beer was in the medieval poem Pierce the Ploughman’s Crede (c.1394), and the tradition is still going. We serve a proper English ploughman’s lunch made with only the best locally sourced ingredients!

It’s our first anniversary!!
Today marks our first year in Haworth, and I would like to take this opportunity to thank every single person who has supported us over the last 12 months, our regulars old and new, our lovely neighbours, our fantastic suppliers, all of our hardworking staff, and every single person who has joined us, be it for a quick coffee stop or a pre booked lunch for 30- without you guys it wouldn’t have been possible, so thank you.
Onwards and upwards, we’...ve set a stable base, now it’s time to see what we can build upon it, here’s to year 2!

What a cracking place !!! Great food and excellent service. The staff ( who I’m sorry I don’t know your names ) were so helpful and cheerful. The choice for both meat eaters and vegan/vegetarian was spot on.

Good luck for the future guys !!

Popped in as I liked the sound of the Upside down Plum cake, overheard a lady ask for the "famous" breakfast hash so had that too... It was delish.... Staff were lovely... Setting lovely... Worth a visit if your in Haworth....

Not usually one for writing reviews, but felt that I must as this place is excellent!! Stopped in today on a busy bank holiday; food and service both fantastic. Lovely waitressing staff who seemed to take a genuine interest in the customers. Couldn't do enough to help. Food is very good quality and reasonably priced for a tourist hotspot. Yorkshire rarebit was superb and the 'side' salad substantial instead of just garnish. Will definitely return! X

User

Matt and Stacey are lovely and so welcoming! The service was fantastic and the food delicious! They can’t do enough to help you. Will definitely be coming back here!
