Good morning folks! Do you like Eggs Benedict? If so, how about this new creation with Halloumi cheese, corvettes, tomatoes. All are grilled and topped with creamy poached eggs and hollandaise sauce. Probably the final looking will be different after your comments, because we have already got some ideas about balsamic glaze and sesame seeds from the person who has tried this Eggs Benedict.
Have a wonderful Saturday and please do not forget, we are open from 9am to 3pm and the last order at 2.30pm.

User

Sorry guys! See you tomorrow!

Never stop creating, exploring, experimenting new things. This is the same with Eggs Benedits, as you can see we transformed your sausage-onion sandwich/baguette in to a delicious Eggs Benedict. It starts with a toasted muffin then a sausage cut into two lengths, then a caramelised onion. On top of everything the usual creamy poached egg with the hollandaise sauce. Of course the paprika purĂ©e is inevitable with garnish. It will definitely be on our 2019 menu, just look for “Bangers” 😋

User

Good morning guys,
We are very excited to share the news that our new shop front design has been completed. This picture shows the evolution of The Cookhouse Cafe from our beginning. Our opening hours has not been changed, it's 9am-3pm and the last order for food at 2:30pm.

User

This is our one of the most popular breakfast đŸłđŸ„“đŸœ. 2 fried eggs, 2 bacon, sausage, baked beans, tinned plum tomatoes, sautĂ©ed potatoes and a choice of toast or bread&butter. It called “Bumper Breakfast” All comes pippin hot with smile. 😁
We are open 9am-3pm, last order at 2.30pm

Due to our builder jobs we are closed tomorrow 20th March. Thanks for understanding and sorry for any inconvenience caused! We will be open on 21st March!

User

For those people who has tried our “Torosh Eggs Benedict” or “Torosh Breakfast”, this smoothie will not be strange. Hungarian style steamed red cabbage transformed into vegetable smoothie is the next on our list, just ask staff when you order your meal.

User

Hello guys, it’s time to be healthy. Browsing in the supermarket I found some rhubarb đŸ€”...đŸ€© yes! Here we go! I’ve created a new smoothie with rhubarb, apple, and strawberry. It’s a bit sour(zero sugar), but refreshing at the same time. Please feel free to write suggestions for its name in comment.

User

Due to our builder jobs we are closed tomorrow 6th March. Thanks for understanding and sorry for any inconvenience caused! We will be open on 7th March! (Hopefully)

We usually go once a week..for lunch...have never had even a remotely bad experience...the food is top quality, beautifully cooked and presented with a nice touch...the menu is pretty wide ranging, some very unusual dishes and often a little twist on the traditional dishes...the Hungarian dishes are great...coffes are very good, green teas excellent and their pancakes are to die for...not had the milkshakes but the choices of flavour are boundless....its seriously worth a try if you haven't yet been...we stumbled across it by accident...best stumble I've ever had....a little gem....oh, and their breakfasts are excellent too....no greasy spoon here....great food, freshly cooked at a price that's worth a lot more...so much care taken in preparation...and the couple who run it are welcoming, polite and friendly

User

We had breakfast here and the service was first class as was the food. We all have an idea on what the perfect egg ïżœ should be, well people I can say that my eggs were done to perfection. We will definitely be back.

Great service and always great choice of food and timely delivery. One of the best breakfast cafes I have encountered. Staff always accommodating and helpful!

User

Great people, atmospheric place and great food. You can also buy gifts from the eclectic selection on the shelves and walls. I wish it was open in the evenings too. I am sure they would provide a great supper menu.

User

Food is fantastic, service is phenomenal. Ran by a Hungarian man, lots of traditional English and Hungarian meals

User

Excellent Sunday morning breakfast. Loved the egg benedict and kids loved the huge choice of milk shakes. Polite and attentive service

User

Delicous food at reasonable prices. The staff could not be more helpful and friendly. Highly recommended. They also make some very interesting wall art.

If you are in the area I do suggest you try this place. You won’t be disappointed.

User

Booked a table for 9 of us for breakfast. First time visiting after seeing on facebook. Really nicely decorated. Very clean. Nice having the personal touch and hungarian flavour to it. Breakfast was very nice. Extra touches go a long way with a birthday candle. Sweets with your bill. Milkshakes are also amazing.

The owner is very friendly, attentive and polite, and also dressed really cool as well.

Will definitely be back again. Nice to support local independent business. :)

User

A very nice place with great food and lovely people.

User

Great food, always freshly made so not always quick but well worth the wait. Friendly staff. I love the different flavour lattes and milkshakes you can try. I would go more often if I lived closer.

User

The worst breakfast I've had the atmosphere was awful the food was extremely poor quality and overpriced the menu is too small to read and sells tins of Coca-Cola at extreme prices from multipack that should not be sold separately I asked if the bread was from an uncut loaf or loaf of bread I got the reply its doorstep bread my breakfast come with Kingsmill bread from a loaf of bread Kingsmill do not do doorstep bread extremely disappointed

User

Price was shocking breakfast was poor not only was it cooked badly the ingredients where the cheapest available the man behind the counter was arrogant not a good combination so many better cafes in Hastings don't waste your money or your time
