Went for lunch yesterday, first time we had visited and we weren’t disappointed! Pies were the best I’ve had and great to see a children’s menu with lots of variety, not just chips! Well done to James and his team. Will definitely be back soon �

The most amazing meals ever all 3 courses exceptional every time we go and you’re always made to feel welcome and they never rush you. It’s a good service when the phone constantly rings and the owner turns people away because he cares more about quality of service than money

The most amazing 2in1 pies ever, not forgetting the most delicious garlic baguette starter with goats cheese and caramelised onion! Cosy setting with an open fire and really friendly service. 5* food & service. They even do takeaway pies �� Well done guys for being so special and unique x

The best way to start the New Year yesterday was definitely with a new experience trip for us all, to the Coppa Dolla Inn! We all really enjoyed our pies and all left with big smiles. Highly recommend!

The best pies around - well worth a visit. They are tasty, fresh and hot from the oven! Well matched with the vegetables and I’d highly recommend a side of roast potatoes. Excellent friendly service also! I’ll definitely be returning numerous times to try the other pie fillings 😋

My son booked a meal for 4.

We started with a cheesy bread and garlic bread with sweet chilli dip.

This pub is known for its two in one pies.

You can have half filling of your choice and half cauliflower cheese

We all however went for medium or large pies with turkey and ham filling and a lamb hot pot filling and a side of veg and roast potatos

We all enjoyed our meals very much and will definitely return

My favourite place for food! The best pies around. Staff and owner are amazing and so welcoming! Always have a laugh when we come to see you guys! Will keep returning!

Most amazing pies! They were just delicious.. the deserts board looked so tempting too, especially when we saw huge wedges of cake on the next tables plates. Lovely friendly service and a true old English pub feel. I would definitely recommend for a pie and will be returning soon for a roast.

Just been out her for Mothers Day with the family. Was lovely meal, one of the best we have had in a very long time out. 3 of us had steak which was so good and 2 had pie. The starters were lovely too. Couldn't fault this place at all. Highly recommend it to anyone.

Honestly the best pie I have ever eaten, Cosy atmosphere and the service James gives is always on top form... would highly recommend.

Having lived in Torquay all my life and I had heard about this place, but never been.

Finally managed to give it a go.

Fantastic atmosphere and the food was great. Lovely pint of legend as well.

We will definitely be giving it another visit very soon and bringing the whole family

First time there last night and food was spot on. James was brilliant and made us all feel extremely comfortable. Affordable and very filling food would recommend to anyone. Will 100% be returning

First time on Saturday for our anniversary. Staff very welcoming and very accommodating. Food was brilliant 2in1 set up spot on food hot and was georgous. Bread and butter pudding was like my childhood all over again. Will definitely recommend a visit to friends and family. And will be returning again. Spot on guys keep it up.

Absolutely love dining here and always pay a visit when we're holidaying in Devon. James and the team are so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. The pies are so tasty, in fact the best I've had. I highly recommend the 2 in 1 pie and they are just as good to take away. Definitely worth a visit 5*

A must visit location! The food is amazing especially their pies, I just can't get enough of them. The pub is cozy with log fires and staff are very friendly.
