Sometimes I just pop in cause I miss the amazing people who work at Claremont rd. Most times it's for the kind of fish and chips you can only get by the sea. A gem!

Popped in for a look, food looked appetising and fresh..opted for cod bites and chips, wasn't sure if I wanted curry sauce and the owner, Tracy offered me a sample..choice of Irish or Chinese curry..the Irish had sold out so

I went with the Chinese curry..I was even offer a wedge of lemon to go with the fish which I accepted :-)..the meal cost £3.20 and well worth it, most excellent food and great customer service..will definitely be paying another visit when in the area. 5/5 for me

One of my favourite places to pop in on my lunch break and the staff are so friendly. Excellent veggie menu too. Lunch here is my Monday treat x

I'm really fussy about takeaway food, l walk past this shop on my way home and the smell of fish and chips always makes me hungry, decided to give it a try tonight, had to slyly inspect the shop first, (I did say I was fussy) and was very pleased to find it spotlessly clean. I ordered with Tracey behind the counter - who is lovely smiley and fun (even though she'd been on the go all day) and the food was served quickly and looked delicious, couldn't wait to get home to tuck in. How was it? Fantastic! I've been looking for a good fish and chip shop in the area for years and now we have The Corner Plaice. Excellent! Very highly recommended indeed!

Amazing quality, the portion served was larger than we could eat for breakfast and the lady serving us was the kindest person I've met in Manchester so far! Do not miss it!

I was looking forward to having a trad Fish & Chip shop close by (I miss Italian chippers back in Dublin, Chinese Chippys here are not up to scratch), I really want this place to work but unfortunately, there have been errors in our last 3 orders. I'm only ordering for 2 people, so its not a lot of food. Errors like only 1 chip being in the bag, or a pie being forgotten about.



The food is very good, the staff are friendly & the cafe itself is spotlessly clean ... But getting orders wrong continuously is poor form.



Back to the Atlantic Fish Bar for me.
