Wonderful friendly service, excellent food and beautiful surroundings. Would highly recommend this restaurant/bar. We had a full cooked breakfast and the fluffy scrambled eggs were lovely but a little too much pepper but would definitely have it again, visiting from out of town

Went to The Courtyard for afternoon tea recently and it was beautiful. Highly recommended. Prosecco was lovely, sandwiches were so fresh and the fillings were very good - like their homemade chutney (not the standard sandwich fillings you get everywhere else!) The scones were warm and delicious and the cakes were lush. I cannot fault it. Truly lovely place. Went again at the weekend for lunch, and again, it didnŌĆÖt disappoint. Sandwiches were really nice and prices are very reasonable for what you get!

We had mothers day afternoon tea here at the courtyard, and must say was well presented, a very good selection and very tasteful indeed. Also included a glass of processco which was very nice, would def book again ’┐Į

We arrived around 5.30pm and was welcomed with ŌĆśtwo mains for the price of oneŌĆÖ off the menu. When the food came it was delicious, I had hot salmon salad, which was very tasty, my husband had prawn linguini and said how much he had enjoyed his meal. I had 2 glasses of prosecco and the hubby had a pint of Coors, the total bill was ┬Ż22.00, what an absolute bargain it was. Will definitely go again.....thank you

Thanks to The Courtyard making our Hen Party special with only 3 hours notice. They put on an amazing spread of sandwiches and nibbles and helped to save the day after our original plans were cancelled due to adverse weather. A lovely friendly team of staff and great atmosphere and food for our party. Thank you from all of us.

Lovely place and the foods really good. We had my husbands 60th here in December it was Excellent.

The staff are great nothing to much trouble.

Just enjoyed a fantastic GLUTEN FREE afternoon tea! I was so pleased when I heard that they offered this. They treated us with some gorgeous GF alternatives! Would highly recommend! ’┐Į

I would like to thank Zeta and all the team involved with making our daughters birthday party a fabulous occasion. Totally stress free for me, all was taken control of very professionally and the food was delicious. Loads of great comments from our guests, thanks again guys and we would definitely recommend to others as a great venue.

I had an accident in the bar on Saturday night at 8pm I slipped into the corridor and tore my hamstring. They called an ambulance and looked after me until it came and I just can't thank them enough. I can't remember the lady's name who worked there but she was so caring as I was obviously very distressed....so thank you to them for their care and kindness...it will be a few weeks before I am up and about again but I will return to say thank you in person

Had a catch up here over some cold drinks and scones yesterday and the service was second to none! Lovely staff where nothing is too much trouble, and lots of freshly made food on offer! Thank you for a lovely afternoon ’┐Į

A huge thankyou to all the staff and owners of the courtyard who saved the day when our hen weekend to butlins at Skegness was cancelled. With just a couple of hours notice they put up banners and balloons, provided some fabulous food and prosecco, a wonderful atmosphere, and brilliant staff. Can't thank them enough, thankyou, thankyou, thankyou.

A BIG thank you to all the staff at the Courtyard who accommodated us on less than a few hours notice to make our hen do a special occasions, after our original plans were cancelled due to the snow. The food and drinks were amazing especially the selection of gin's. We all had a great day xx

Popped in to the courtyard yesterday for a bit of lunch! Zeta was very helpful, professional and so nice to my little nephew. Fantastic food and relaxed warm atmosphere. Nothing is too much trouble. Will be back soon I hope ­¤æŹ­¤Å╝­¤æŹ­¤Å╝­¤æŹ­¤Å╝­¤æŹ­¤Å╝­¤æŹ­¤Å╝

We have afternoon tea here regular we went today and it had got up ┬Ż5 we were not told about the increase when it was ordered very disappointing service for regular customers will not be ordering it again.

Four of us had the Christmas afternoon tea, which was lovely,we didn't receive the prosecco and only remembered when we left so I guess own own fault as well, we paid the bill and left ┬Ż10 tip I also rang up and queried whether they had taken off our ┬Ż20 deposit as we thought they hadn't, I emailed 15 mins after leaving but never got a answer in the end.

I came to Courtyard on Saturday evening...it was relatively early at about 8pm. I haven't been there for years. I have seen on social media that it now sells food and is always promoting new cocktails and gins. I finally got the chance to go ’┐Į

I was so disappointed. I was looking for a classy place to have a nice G&T on a warm evening.... only to be served a G&T in a icecream sundae type glass! I asked if I could have a Gin glass to be told there was none left so was given a highball glass. Not the perfect glass I wanted to drink my G&T in. I even had to ask for a slice of lemon. The young barman was very blas├© and looked disinterested with my request for a different glass ’┐Į

Suggestion of better customer service, a service with a smile would go a long way and purchasing some more gin glasses maybe for the busier times.

I will be returning to Wickersley soon for an evening out but will be hesitant to return to the courtyard.

Breakfast cold sent it back sausage tomatoes beans warmed in microwave toast still cold and tasted like stale bread ,coffee cold waiting for breakfast I asked for another and got charged for it no apology from any staff
