Wanted to eat for a while and finally got chance yesterday. Got the classic burger and it was lovely but the beef brisket fries were to die for. I could have just eaten them all day long. Absolutely delicious. Good size portions and excellent offers available. Had some lovely cocktails too in the bar attached

Visited for the 1st time today and certainly won't be our last. I had the peanut butter burger and all I can say is WOW!!!!! The other half had the pizza burger and thoroughly enjoyed it, burgers were cooked to perfection, and OMG the chunky chips were amazing. Really great friendly service from the young man working this afternoon will be back to try another burger soon 😍

Travelled all the way from Scotland with family and did not disappoint! Top class food, drink and service from all the staff who were brilliant especially with young children. From the wide variety of kids and adult menu everything was delicious � Will definitely travel the miles to eat and drink here again � #1

Took kids to cow shed tonight for tea and it was brilliant. Staff were friendly and polite. Food was gorgeous. I had the brisket on a biscuit. It was amazing, really tasty and the sweet potatoes fries were to die for. Kids loved their food. Lovey food, great value, gorgeous venue. Definitely going again. �

Our first visit on Saturday night was fantastic , staff really friendly and helpful. It was snowing when we visted and we were sat near the doors which you did get a cold blast off when they'd been left open, but the staff where constantly going over and shutting the doors which was nice to see.

Food was amazing fresh and really tasty with loads of choice.

Can't wait to visit again

My husband and I went on a Saturday night and it was quite busy. The staff were friendly but service was fairly slow. The food, however, was delicious and couldn’t be faulted. The burgers were huge, just like the photos, very tasty and succulent. The chefs can be seen cooking the food to order through a hatch. If you like your burgers cooked well done then ask otherwise they come cooked medium. The only other advice is to sit away from the door as it gets a trifle draughty on a cold night.

Really good portion we were served by Alex all night making us feel comfortable and welcome thank you we will be back with extended family soon

Just had the most beautiful burger i have tasted in a very long time . I highly recommend The Cow Shed . Waiter Service was fantastic from a lad called Alex . Recommended The Shed Burger i took his advice and was over the moon with his choice . Wife got a classic cheese burger and daughter got a Parmo burger . We all loved every mouthful and will be returning again soon . 100 % Compliments to the Chef And Thankyou Alex For Making our evening meal out a great one . Iv been tonight had the tastiest double brisket burger the fries were unreal and the portion sizes I was served by a guy called Alex he made us feel very welcome and looked after us he also recommended the brisket burger I enjoyed� we topped it of with strawberry daiquiris had a fantastic night we will definitely be back and bring family next time �

If you want great service, and the best burger you will ever taste then look no further!!! Cannot wait to return and try a different burger �

Came in yesterday with the family and we had a very enjoyable meal. My “Shed” Burger stated on the menu that it came with Pulled Pork but Instead came with a slice of pork. Still tasty but would have preferred what I’d ordered.



Would come back, food cooked very well and the service was great. Peroni was decent too �

Went yesterday and although the food has great potential was let down by poor service. My beer (bud light) was not available and then a table next to us was told this was available when they had tried to order another beer that was also sold out.



Myself and my girlfriend ordered both our burgers without mustard but both arrived with mustard. No check back to see if food was satisfactory and nobody available to grab the attention of either.



We just did the best we could with the mustard but its a strong flavour to remove.



Place wasn't awful but not somewhere I would return either.

Been wanting to try this place for a while so when we saw a groupon deal we bought a voucher and booked for 4 people. The voucher was good value - £15 for 2 courses for 2 people and we were allowed to choose most things off the main menu. When we first arrived the staff were super friendly and attentive but as the night got busier we felt forgotten about and service was quite poor. I’m usually quite relaxed in restaurants but it’s just the little things that make a huge difference - for example the table next to us who came in after us got their food quite some time before we did, my friend had to order his beer twice before it arrived, and when it came to paying we waited at least 15 minutes for a card machine to be brought to us, only for the waitress to go to another table first who’d only just received their bill. The food was ok and good value for money but not sure we’d return

Previously rated this place 5* but editing it because it’s just awful now. The wait time for food is 50-60 minutes even when the place is empty. Booked a table for 7:30pm recently, was told to wait in the bar area and was still waiting to be sat down at 8pm - again with only 2 other tables occupied. Had to leave and eat elsewhere as we had a film to get to. Attempted to eat here again the other day as we used to love it & on arrival found they have completely changed the menu and removed most of the vegetarian options so again chose to leave. Overall the service is slow and questionable (maybe due to a change in staff?) and it’s just not a nice welcoming place to eat anymore. Really disappointing as we loved it when it first opened.

Worst burger in Boro, worst burger I’ve ever had, was genuinely reluctant to pay the bill, everything was burnt barring the fries that weren’t cooked, the service was piss poor “not even busy” sat half an hour to then be disappointed, the beer is flat, chicken wings were dry, flies everywhere and dodgy heaters plugged in, staff didn’t seem to give a toss, was looking forward to our first visit to celebrate my daughters birthday, absolutely shocking, doubt this will last 6 months as it is now, absolutely no way I’d go back. Left hungry, a takeaway it is I guess. Terrible eatery, chef didn’t seem very hygienic kept wiping his hands on his arse pockets and touching food, avoid! Avoid! Avoid!

Visited a couple of months ago and tried again yesterday on a groupon however the menu has completely changed. Previously I thought the menu was great and exciting. The new menu is dull and boring and the starter menu has completely been removed and replaced with ‘snax’. I was told that there would be a special of the day also available however there wasn’t one yesterday. Genuinely disappointed with the changes that have been made. So much so we didn’t order and I’ll be getting a refund.

Never before have i had such bad food even at Maccy Dees, couldn’t understand why it took 45 minutes to arrive then i realised it was because theyd been cooking the burger for that long, absolutely no flavour, am still to find my triple cheese sauce and as for triple cooked chips, never seen those that soggy that you could bend them double, wish id taken a photo. Food dire, service dire, staff dire, actually the young lad recommended a gin, that was nice but staff looked like they couldn’t be arsed, ate it cos i was starving, didnt even have the heart to complain cos I thought the staff wouldnt give a crap so posted on here instead.!
