What a little gold mine this is. Staff very friendly and attentive , food is fantastic. Not a huge menu but lots of specials of the day. Nice selection of wines and beers. Excellent

I was part of a party of 6 celabrating my son's 18th Birthday, the staff were faultless and the food absolutely outstanding not one complaint from the moment we arrived to the moment we left!

I would recommend this fabulous restraunt to anyone for any reason wether just a simple night out to an important celebration i could not be happier, thank you Cow Shed �

Superb meal, added bonus we got the early bird which is a bargain. Amazing steak and the rhubarb and ginger sponge is beautiful.

Only just left the place! Definitely the best fillet steak I've ever had in my entire life I don't think anywhere else compares & definitely will return, also had the salmon, prawn & cod fish cakes to start which were beautiful! Friendly staff and great atmosphere, would rate 100 stars if I could!!!! Thanks for a lovely evening :)

Love the cow shed . Seem to have had a change over of waiters waitresses who were friendly attentative and fun . Food was scrumptious as ever I had the mushroom soup breaded chicken duphenaise potatoes and sticky caramel pudding .. Probabablt put on a stone in weight but worth every mouthful ....only one suggestion maybe offer a complementary shot at the end of meal xxxx

Both had steak, cooked to perfection and so delicious. Had the Lemon Tart to finish just stunning.

Staff are so lovely every time I have visited, very polite and never rush you to go.

Fiance booked a table as a suprise as ive always said id like to go. It wasnt a dissapointment. The food was amazing, my Fiance said it was the best steak he'd ever had. The Staff were great and welcoming. Will definately go back. ��

Fantastic food last night for a father's day meal. Top homemade soup, lovely main courses and thee most amazing lemon tart & rhubarb and ginger pudding. Lovely staff, very welcoming and friendly and willing to make time to have conversation. Will be going back!

Fabulous meal friday night, for my birthday with my family. Friendly, welcoming attentive staff. Steaks and duck cooked to perfection. Baileys creme brulee to die for.

It was very good, nine of us for my granddaughters birthday, we all had a lovely meal.and service was good

Very charming staff and menu extensive and interesting. I like to treat myself to a steak now and then. So I ordered a ribeye steak medium. It was cooked medium however quite tough and not much flavour. Over the years I know my steaks quite well and to be honest my steak did look like a rump steak! This is why three stars was awarded. My husband ordered cod and he said it was lovely. So it is worth another visit hopefully, if I order the steak I might get the one I requested.

Meal was .....ok.. not for the price though. Steaks were at the very least "small" for what you're being charged. If you're charging £24 for a steak, it should be at least comparable with the restaurants in Leeds where the quantity and quality deserve that tag. Two hours for the visit for a main meal only is not great either! Bear in mind we are talking a Wednesday night and not overly busy. Nothing really wrong with the meal, but would I go back?.... possibly not I'm afraid. Sorry.
