This three hour workshop will teach you how to make a variety of beautiful candles. Choose from a range of fragrances and dyes to personalise your very own candle range.
This workshop is on Saturday 30th March from 11 to 2.

If you want to take your next steps in knitting then this is the perfect workshop for you. We will be looking at how cables work and making ourselves a cosy cabled headband in the process!

Learn the basics of this traditional craft. You can choose from the traditional lucky crane or a modern funky elephant. By the end of the workshop you will have made a mobile to add colour and fun to any baby's room - although it doesn't have to be for baby if you fall in love with it!

The Crafting Place is located at the picturesque Smithbrook Kilns, with free car parking and plenty of other interesting, independent shops to explore. Vicki is both friendly and knowledgeable in all things 'knitting and crochet' and I would highly recommend a visit for anyone who enjoys working with wool, or for any novice needing a guiding hand on where to begin.

Just finished a beginners knitting course at the Crafting Place. It was exceptional! Vicky is a very nice super patient teacher and I'm so pleased with what I've learnt. Shame it's finished already. I will look out for the advance knitting course. Absolutely loved it! ’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į

I've just completed the 4 week knitting course - it was brilliant and I would highly recommend it. Our class had varying abilities and Vicki tailored the classes to meet everyone's needs. We learnt a whole range of different skills and culminated in making a beautiful hat. I will definitely be signing up for another course in the future. Thanks Vicki!

I recently had an origami class at the Crafting place, apart from a thourghly enjoyable morning learning to make some Christmas Origami, Vicky gave me confidence to go home and continue learning. I shall certainly not hesitate to book another course.
