What a great place! We have loved our two days here and spending it with you. Brilliant ciders and wine.

What a great place! Laid back, friendly staff and unique style. The craft selection was great, sours were yum! We visited on a Tuesday, early afternoon... there was a steady flow of people and a laid back, chilled atmosphere. The staff were all incredibly helpful and genuinely friendly. The food was tasty, fresh and filling! The menu description of a cheese and ham toastie didn't do the delicious fresh platter of food my daughter enjoyed justice! We enjoyed the outside little patio in the shade and moved upstairs when the sun moved in (2 young children)... The upstairs decor and vibe was just as good and the staff were accommodating of our table shift. Our party had a great experience and would definitely recommend and revisit this spot!

We stopped off on our way through Windermere. Lovely, friendly, knowledgeable staff. Great selection of specialist beers... and the best sharing platter we've ever had. Mellow acoustic blues in the background and a real fire makes it just perfect

We recently had a 3 day break in Windermere. From the moment we walked into The Crafty Baa we were treated like friends. The "baa" itself has a fabulously chilled atmosphere from the quirky decor to the great sounds they play there especially the Blues . We just didnt want to leave the place, so it was our go to local everynight whilst we were there. We tried a number of the many beers on offer all of which were really well kept. It eas great to be able to try something completly different that you cant get in other Craft Bars we have been in. All the staff were so friendly, especially the bar manager and manageress, who went out if their way to find out the type of beer we liked and suggested some of theirs that would suit our taste. Our favourite was Clockwork Tangerine a perfect beer for a hot day.

They even remembered that I had a wheat allergy the next day we came in and checked ingredience online for the beers we chose to make sure I didnt have any that would cause me a problem.

The food platters we had such good quality food on them and complimented their beers to a tee.

On our final day we had the large meat and cheese sharing platter for 2 which was truely special and amazing value.

Thanks Crafty Baa you made our little holiday very special, we will defo be back next time we are in Windermere.

Wonderful bars like yours don't happen by accident they happen because of the hard work and true dedication of the whole team involved in making this bar what it is.

We found you by chance today after our little ramble up Orrest Head. What a fantastic place. Well decorated, cosy bar area and a lovely relaxing area upstairs. The food was to die for. My daughter had the mussels and artisan bread and I had the big toastie (sorry can't remember the name of it, last one one the toastie board) it was just stunning, really V reasonably priced too. No other words necesssary!!! Can't wait to return soon!!!

Very friendly staff, amazing selection of beers. Dogs welcome here as well. Can't wait to come back and see the renovations!

This place is amazing, multitude of �, ciders , and I learnt a new way to drink Gin, food fantastic, the Barman sure know their stuff. Came back for a second round.�

Spent a lot of time here this weekend, very quirky, large selection of ales, lager, beers, cider, wine, gin etc and food wise really enjoyed the meat and cheese sharing platter. This is a very popular place and is the place to be in Windermere at present. Also very dog friendly! Wish you all the best in your expansion next door and will visit again soon to see how the new place looks.

Soooo very surprised about this place! Had passed it 3 or 4 times and thought it was a hippy coffee bar! Stopped to look at the menu, looked inside and ! Oh, what a surprise! Fabulous bar, fire and atmosphere! Fantastic! Met so many lovely people. Will definitely be returning on our next trip!

Lovely cosy atmosphere. Very welcoming & friendly. Great food & drink x

Great find on a visit to Windermere. Staff really friendly and good food. Lots of choice of guest drinks too. Look forward to going back some time.

Excellent choice of drinks, lovely food, polite and friendly staff who were very informative! The setting is excellent and well worth the walk up the hill from Bowness. You might need a taxi back down the hill though �

Definitely ranks as one of the best pubs I've been in, great atmosphere, great range of proper beers, ales food and wines.Service from bar staff was second to none, well worth a visit

Charming and quirky little pub in Windermere. Good selection of drinks, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Looking forward to visiting again if I’m ever back in the Lake District.

Amazing place, spent nearly 6 hours in here every time we said we were going someone got a great beer that we all had to try. Such s great ambiance about the place.
