Went for my Birthday as its the closest Fondue restaurant to Swansea. Yum yum, it was lovely & the staff were great x x

We booked for a birthday meal and had an awesome night. The staff were very accomodating and friendly. The choice of dipping materials (cured meats/breads(sourdough and gluten free)/vegetables) we're lovely and the fondue itself was amazing. Thank you for a brilliant meal. Recommended.

The menu at the Crafty Egg gets better every time I go. There's something for everyone: veggie, carnivore, vegan and even gluten intolerants.

Always super friendly and helpful staff and the coffee is second to none.

The breakfast tortilla was delicious! Everything I love on one dish. My only gripe was I wish there was some black pepper on the table. Im sure I could've asked but I dived right in and I didn't want to stop once i started!!

Lovely little find... shared a fondue with a friend. Not cheap, but definitely worth the money. Best fondue I've had- amazing accompaniments... unlimited!! Dangerous! Staff really friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend this place..

Living close to Stokes Croft, I am spoilt by a plethora of cafes. But none continue to hit to spot as well as The Crafty Egg! Whether dropping in for a lovely coffee or a enjoying a delicious dinner (I can recommend the vegetarian tacos!), The Egg always has me coming back for more!

I first came here on New Year's Day feeling very low..my friend and I were desperately looking for somewhere to have food and then, like a mirage in the midst of a cold rainy day, we spot the Crafty Egg.

We both chuckled at the sign that read "please be nice, we're hungover as well" and were really happy with the service.



After this, I started coming on a regular basis.. Sometimes my poached eggs would be hard, but I really didn't care enough to point it out. I appreciate it can be hard to time everything during busy times.

Recently they've been perfect, giving me that sense of awe when you press your knife, trying to squeeze out the yolk.

The food really is great, yet so simple.. I love how you can sort of "create" your own breakfast starting with a "classic avocado" or a "mushroom and spinach" (my two personal favourites)..but the thing that I really love about this place is the people who work there and the atmosphere.

I feel at ease, there's this sense of "just be whoever and whatever. We're all human and we're all trying to be happy, be understood and make a living".

I've made friends with the lovely blonde lady who works there and am pleased to see who I think is the manager/owner helping out.

I always recommend coming here and some of my friends think I'm addicted..! See you soon guys, sending loads of love x x x x <3

GREAT! Everytime I go past the place is rammed, and everytime I go in, just for a coffee there is something new, be it the menu, decor etc, lovely owners working every hour that god sends to make this a truly awesome place, Staff are great, friendly and attentive. You couldn't ask for a better place to be on your doorstep. Excellent.

Found this place completely by chance whilst visiting over the weekend. Fab wee place! Will be back! I had huevos rancheros and it was to die for. 5 stars is not enough.

Fantastic range of foods - particularly if you love eggs! We had the Cheesy Bubble with Chorizo and it was superb! Great environment, friendly and helpful staff, convenient location and all round fantastic service!

Absolutely perfect Fondue! Excellent value, great selection of craft beers, lovey wine list. Instantly transported back to my first Fondue high up in the French Alps! Definitely be back to try the brunch menu in the near future :)

30/40 minutes wait for pancakes, the staff said that it the normal time!!! The food is expensive but it's a trending local in Stokes Croft so...you pay for that.
