Well kept site, good facilities, central to the village
Good camp site. OK facilities. However no mop to clean the showers so gets messy fast.
Booked last minute, arrived within hour and a half of booking. Wasn't disappointed. Really clean and good facilities. Excellent location 5 minute walk from a lovely picturesque village. Would definitely recommend and stay again.
Excellent site, 2nd time we have stayed. Toilet blocks, clean and modern with good showers, good wash facilities. Wifi lounge is a bonus and ideally placed for access into Hawkshead for good pubs, outdoor shops and some nice specialist food shops. Great park within 3/4 mins walk and ideal access for a short 20min ride to Ambleside for bigger town and Langdales for stunning walks and climbing. Recommend.

Friendly staff, Spotless facilities, great location, dog friendly site and village.
Stayed here three nights in November 2016. Best aspect is the sites position right next to Hawkshead village. Takes about 5 minutes flat walk to get there. The camp site is relatively flat though ramps would be useful on some pitches. Mixture of hard standing and grass pitches. Reasonable space between. Facilities are clean, good condition. Some unisex bathrooms, some single sex blocks. Plenty of covered dish washing sinks. Free WiFi with good coverage on pitches. Night lighting, games room. Roads on two sides and beck behind. Dogs allowed on leads. Cost us £23.50 a night. Also do static caravans, lodges and flats to rent.
