The usual great food and top class service from the very efficient staff. I wouldn't mind another cask ale to go with Doombar but that's just my personal opinion. The Crofters is a very good pub. Well worth a visit.

Myself and 3 family members visited on Sunday for food and despite the pub being very busy and told there would be a 30 min wait. our food reached us in less than that and looked and tasted amazing . We ordered 2 cod and a beef Sunday lunch . Would highly recommend and will definetly be visiting again .

Haven't been here for years only called in for a business meeting but Andy and Louise were both there and both chatty and friendly as we're the rest of the staff. We had hot drinks and sat in a clean comfortable setting

I will return with the family for tea one night

Had a lovely night last night for our daughters birthday. Food was lovely and piping hot and staff were lovely and friendly couldnt do enough for us will definately be going again thanks for lovely service ladies .

Had a great meal for My birthday here with my family. Meal was lovely and staff were really helpful. My son has to have a gluten free diet and it really easy to find him something to have. We will be returning. Xx

Had a few meals and drinks here now and all good experiences so we decided to have a small family celebration for my daughters 18th. We got a buffet for 26 people well worth it! There was plenty of food and it was lovely. Compliments to thr kitchen team Michael and Jay for doing our buffet whilst cooking for customers you are fab. We paid for balloons and decorations and i have to say they were great! Our daughter had a lovely night. Thank you all so much x

Great atmosphere most of all the manager makes you feel very welcomed I’m loving the new decor looks amazing � not forgetting the food and service was spot on could not fault this pub 10/10

Cracking pub and has just had a huge refurb. The place looks great, staff very attentive, food was top notch. Looking forward to watching some of the World Cup games on the new large HD screen they were installing at the time.

We are also in the process of getting our beer garden summer ready

So we can all relax once summer arrives

Nice little pub. Although there was a 45 minute wait for food, it was worth it when it came. Tasty & very well priced. Our waitress was very friendly & couldn't do enough for us. Would highly recommend if you're looking for cheap, tasty pub grub

Visited tonight with my daughter waited just on 50 minutes for my food which i didnt mind as it was busy ? My daughters tikka was fine but my lasagna was stone cold inside , did complain to the young girl who returned with the bill minus my meal which i couldnt eat , but no sorry from the manager who was talking to people on the next table ! Would i return for food ? Dont think so

I'm always eating in crofters but went last night ok it was busy half an hour wait been that before food wasn't up to much got gamon no pineapple or egg on had to take it back and my husband had smothered chicken that's usually nice but they must of run out of normal cheese and had a cheese slice on oh and by the way only picked these cos twice we picked good and they had run out come on crofters get back to good service �

Went there yesterday as we only live up the road so it's handy. The manageress is very nice to to be honest I think they need a new chef. Everytime we go in and I always order the same everytime. It's always different. I order fajitas chicken. No sour cream or no guacamole etc yesterday I only got 3 wraps usually you get four and one looked like it had a bite out of it and they were hard no seasoning on the chicken. Such a shame as I don't think I want to dine there any more.

Ordered a mince pie and was served a steak pie .

now you maybe think bonus .

But I really fancied a mince pie .

when I pointed out the chunks of meat the waitress tried her best to convince me it was indeed a mince pie!

Waited over one hour for food, wasn't told there was a wait when ordering. Asked how long it was going to take after 45 minutes of waiting, the lady I asked was extremely rude and told me there was a wait... She did however go into the kitchen, I was then told we were third in line, I asked what does that mean, meaning how much longer. She then said, third in line and walked away from me. Rude. Customer services was terrible!

Waited at sign for seating to be ignored twice by waitress only for another to come over and asked if we’ve booked we hadn’t and she said sorry fully booked all night that’s ok at least she acknowledged us only for my friend to walk in less than 1 hr later also not booked and be given a table, we won’t be returning

The elderly lady who was waiting on that night was incredibly rude and abit of a bitch if I'm honest - we had a small party of 5/6 - some were at the bar when we pointed out that the order was completely wrong she started slagging the party off within ear shot of the group. Made us feel bad for pointing out the food delivered was different to what was ordered. At first she insisted it was right until she checked the bill - all of a sudden she was as sweet as pie - two faced - wouldn't go back there again. She was all too happy to blaim everything on the new girl - we don't mind the new girl making mistakes - we've all been there but her customer service was piss poor.

Just turned up with the family for dinner. Emptied and cleaned our table ourselves, then went to order food only to be told that there was a minimum hour wait as the Chef had walked out. They must go through Chef's like no ones business as it is the third time I've had that excuse / experience in the past 6 months. I won't bother even trying to go for food again. It's a shame as it could be a cracking pub if it was run properly.

Booked a table for 6 people on Saturday night, when we arrived, well before time the table we had specifically booked had been given to another party and we were put in a very busy area under a tv screen which we were very disappointed with, we complained to the staff and the manager who gave us a very insincere apology and didn’t seem very interested in our complaint at all so we all got up and walked out and went elsewhere where we were given a very good meal with impeccable service so won’t be returning to the Crofters Arms again in a hurry.

Please Crofters Arms Don’t take bookings if you’re going to give tables to the first people that walk in, what is the point ???
