We frequent the Cross inn regularly, for meals and drinks. It is friendly, welcoming and has a lovely atmosphere. The food is amazing especially the Sunday roasts!

We had my daughters birthday party there on Sunday, along with a bouncy castle. The Cross Inn provided us with a yummy barbecue and the staff were very attentive. The cost of the day (the barbecue, as garden was free when ordering food) was really reasonably priced. We all had a fantastic day. Thank you to all of the staff at the Cross Inn!

We arrived onmotorcycles yet were made welcome something that is not true of all pubs sadly. We had a really nice meal which consisted of good typical pub food at a reasonable cost. By the end of the evening we were having a laugh and joke with some of the locals which really made the evening. We will certainly be returning.

Visited on Sunday for a family meal. Two of our party (my brother and 6 year old niece) are coeliac and had the most choice they've ever had in a menu! It was lovely to see my niece get to choose as it's such a rarity for children's menus to offer gluten free options (most of the time she just ends up with a jacket spud). Food was great and reasonably priced- we will definitely be back!

Lovely, friendly pub in a beautiful part of Sussex. Great for food or just light refreshment. Nothing better in the winter than a pint by the big open fire or to catch some live music or fresh pizza from their own oven in the summer.
