Food was delicious, staff very Friendly and helpful and I'm thinking of having my birthday meal there next year it was so good and they do 2 for 1 on some meals.

Friendly traditional pub with good access to the Beverly Road area and transport links to the city centre. 10 hotel rooms available. Two pub quizzes per week (Sundays and Tuesdays) as well as other social events, including live music on a weekend. Numerous big screens in both bars with fantastic food, I'm a regular diner! Highly recommended.

Very basic room. Clean but slight smell of damp & was cold until all heaters turned on. Bed comfy. Music from pub loud but finished at 11pm.

Had Sunday lunch, very nice food and prompt courteous service. Recommended.

I booked a room here for 2 nights for work. The key to my room didn’t work properly which meant I was left struggling to lock and unlock the door. The staff couldn’t do anything about it. The website states internet in room but there was no signal in my room. When I informed the staff they were unapologetic, unhelpful and failed to offer any remuneration. The communal bathroom was dirty. The windows let in a draft. The heating wasn’t on the second night and it was freezing. No one cleaned the room during my stay. Negative criticism is met with contempt by this establishment. There are plenty of good hotels in Hull. Save your money and look elsewhere.

Very nice place with very friendly and helpful staff. We went there for good reasonably priced food and we were not disappointed

Booked a table for 12 on Friday for the following sunday only to arrive to be told no table was booked. We hadmy partners 80 year old mother with us whose on oxygen. This also happened to a party of 15 with a birthday cake in hand. This really spoilt the day for us as we had to find somewhere else. Wont be going here again.

Ordered two meals, one for my wife and one for me. The service was quick and the food was fantastic. Washed down with a couple of pints of a guest beer - wonderful!

Good food. Excellent hand-pulled beer, the Black Sheep, when on, is truly tip top stuff. Good to see they towel the pump if t'ale is owt but in top form. Returned a cloudy pint, no quibble. Pump taken straight out of the batting order as is only right.
Pity that they don't have any Newcastle Brown in bottles, though..
Commended. 4/5

Conviently located on Beverley Road (a major arterial route into Hull), the Cross Keys is a popular Tudor style pub with a bar and lounge rooms. In the bar are several large screen TVs for sporting events accompanied by a pool table and darts board, while the lounge is where the excellent food is served during the day, and live music performed on weekends. The Sunday roasts are fantastic and there's a good choice of other dishes too. Rooms are available at very reasonable rates, although tend to be used by visiting contractors. As well as live music and sporting events, there are quizzes held on both Sunday and Tuesday nights. A great friendly pub with excellent food, especially on a Sunday, when you'll be better booking in advance.
