Was on my holidays with national,popped in for a drink,lovely pub,great staff and sold plenty of gin.x’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į

This is one of the best run and warmest welcoming pubs I've been to in a long time....

The Crown and Cush is a fantastic pub and Mick, Mandy and Terry make it the best place to spend a Friday night in Chesterfield.

Performed here last night, what a fab night. Customers and staff were all lovely, a really enjoyable evening with plenty of dancing going on and everyone joining in singing! Thank you for a top night, look forward to coming back to see you all, Marie Wells x x x

Mick and Mandy are the best hosts. Really friendly and a laugh a minute. Terry is one of the most entertaining DJs around . His music selections are spot on for every occasion. Bar staff are a great team. Friendly, welcoming and really helpfull.

Landlord couldn't do enough for us when we went in bank holiday brilliant music and fantastic atmosphere highly recommend this place

I had the most amazing time gigging here on 23/12/16 - staff are unbelievably friendly and helpful, Terry the entertainment manager is an absolute dream, and the atmosphere from the customers was electric - can't wait to go back again!

Worth noting for other singers that there is easy access with gear, and parking, and also added security guys, who are quick to help when it's busy and the customers get a bit close to your gear! Completely the opposite to the negative stigma attached to city centre pubs. Couldn't recommend this place enough!

I had a great night last night singing in front of a fantastic audience. It was a great atmosphere here at the crown n cushion and looking forward to singing here in the near future. very warm and friendly.I would also like to say a big thank you to the staff who looked after me throughout the night.x

Had the delight of standing in for a fellow act who was ill last night. I had a fun night as I always do. Some right characters which are always up for a laugh.

Great gig last night for the T.C.B DUO.nice set of people.danced all night. made us very welcome the tambourines and maracas were defiantly out. fantastic atmosphere.look forward to a return next year.and a big thanks to terry/steve for looking after us.

5* venue. Lovely staff, punters and entertainment! Always have a good night either as a punter or performer! Not your typical 'town centre pub'.

18 years in the business and defo one of my fave gigs.

If your act and you've not been before they like a singer but also love a bit of good old banter too so get involved with the crowd they are usually very responsive and you will have a blast.
