Good menu food lovely though a bit expensive great choice of beers wines and spirits. If your in to watching sports on the telly then this is the place to be though there is more than enough quiet areas away from the television's. Last but not least the staff make you feel that they want you there nothing was too much trouble smiles all round great experience all round.
Nice local pub only had a coffee early doors with a friend. Nice and quiet place for a chat.
Didn’t eat but the food looked good.
The cleanliness was exceptional. Plus they have there own car park which is very handy.
Went in for a pre-ride meal/pint in the crown inn. We were the first in & ordered food at midday, food came quick and I was pleasantly surprised with my steak & Ale pie. Also had a good little selection of ales on top.

Lovely food, priced not bad considering you're in a busy tourist area. Staff very good, friendly, helpful. Service was speedy even though they were quite busy. Good bar for drinks too, nice atmosphere. Child friendly, staff very good with our two, baby change in ladies if needed.
We visited here on our walking holiday in Coniston. The menu outside drew us in as we were looking for a casual pub meal after a day's hike. We were very impressed by the service. We felt welcomed straight away. The bar staff were all chatty and there was a very homely atmosphere. There were specials menus on the tables and requested a full menu at the bar. The food was gorgeous, we had the pie, it came very promptly. The portion sizes were huge! We had a chat with the locals and fussed a few dogs there. The floors and furnishings were clean and not worn at all. This surprised us for a pub which is dog friendly and one which has live football and music. Toilets were clean. We would definitely return here.

Lovely pub and 3 out of 4 meals were nice. Pizza was uncooked and tasted cheap.
