Join us Saturday 10th November for a fantastic firework display. Homemade chilli and hot dogs will be served to warm you up while you enjoy the display! There will also be live music from local talented singers. If you would be interested in singing get in touch!
Food will be served from 7 and fireworks at 8. Proceeds from food will go to Heartstart Swallowfield.

delightful village pub with good honest food (not too fancy) and a lovey atmosphere. one of the joys of village life!

Wonderful food and friendly hosts and staff. Offering a great choice on the menu, and fast efficient service

This is a great little Pub great people they made me feel very welcome, I was sad to leave Jenny Auustralia

Lovely pub. Was very impressed with how clean!! Everything was spotless ... menu looked so good . Lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend and we will b back.

Lovely family owned pub that's well worth a visit.

I was there a few days ago with my wife and another couple. The atmosphere was just right: no music, fire roaring in the background and a few locals talking.



The food was very good and the staff were both very friendly and attentive, as we were checked in in during our meal by three different people.



I would recommend trying the Crown, it's a proper local pub that does good food and has a great selection of drinks, especially beer on tap/pump.

Have lived in the area for 35 years and found this by accident yesterday simply because the garden centre restaurant was heaving at lunch time. What a stroke of luck. Super food, lovely people and reasonably priced. Will be recommending to everyone. We will be back next time we want to eat out.

Excellent food beer and fireworks display well done
