This summer on the rooftop is about English wine and all the great things it has to offer. One of our favourites is this PN18 from @tillinghamwines. Taking role of 'The Culpeper Champagne' for the duration of the summer. Rose pink in colour with some natural sediment, the wine is very refreshing, fruit forward and easy to drink πŸ‡πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§

Last month saw London Craft Week come to London, and @pompomfactory did the thing they do best, create this spectacle flower installation in Old Spitalfields Market. Fancy having a crack at creating your own paper floral masterpiece? Then The Culpeper is the place to be. In just under two weeks time, Pom Pom Factory will be giving us all the tips and tricks to create an everlasting bouquet of peonies. As a lot of you may know, we LOVE wine here at The Culpeper, and this summer, along with a modest and rustic rooftop, we’ll be celebrating all things English wine. With wine production in England on the up, and many sparkling wines being compared to that from the Champagne region in France, we couldn’t think of anything else to shout about. Join us this summer, for a English tipple in our β€˜country’ garden along with some grilled goodness. The rooftop will be open Tuesday - Sunday for both drinks and food, for more information please give us a call on 020 7247 5371 πŸ·πŸŒΏπŸ‡β

You've only got the rest of May to grab our delicious @feastfairly dish, a chicken, leak and mushroom pie. We've sourced our chicken from @herbfedpoultry, where all poultry is traditionally farmed, hand-fed and kept in small flocks, meaning they're truly free to roam their Yorkshire habitat πŸ“. Every time we sell this dish, not only are we fighting the battle against food waste, but we'll also be donating Β£1 to the amazing @refettoriofelix ✨✨

Our 'Wine of the Week' is Rosammare, a Sicilian number from winemaker Nino Barraco. Using Nino's youngest vines of Nero d'Avola, the grapes are picked early, in the middle of August, meaning the acid is tart and the potential alcohol low. The wine spends just a night on its skins before being pressed off to stainless steel vats. It is bottled young and unfiltered, with no additions. A brish, saline rosato that is perfect with a plate of fried anchovies or squid πŸ·πŸ‡
