This event celebrates the wisdom of Juliette de Bairacli Levy and her book ‘The Complete Herbal Book for the Dog’ (first published in 1955). An original spirit from London, she was the first person to be published on the importance of food to animal health, and is widely considered the grandmother of herbal medicine and holistic dog care.

"I am impassioned to provoke a rethink in healthy canine dining and hope that this event, the first of its kind here, inspires better doggie dinners across the UK".
Event organiser and spiritual dog trainer Natty Mason, who has a particular passion for canine nutrition, has worked with whole foods and gluten-free trained chef Emily Stevenson to devise the menus served at The Curious Canine Kitchen which combine Juliette’s herbal wisdom in giving vitality while remaining true to canine tastes.

The Curious Canine Kitchen is donating 100% of the proceeds to Amazon CARES, a street dogs (and cats) charity in Iquitos, where Natty, a Londoner, regularly volunteers. For those who are unable to attend the event but wish to get involved, there will be the ‘Paw-fect Prize Draw’ online offering the crème de la crème of canine and human prizes to be won.
For canophilists everywhere: London's favourite dog artist, Robert Clarke has done an exclusive screen print in support of The Curious Canine Kitchen. Limited edition and signed. Price: £200. 00, 50% of the proceeds going to Amazon CARES. (One of which is a prize in the Prize Draw. )
