Went to the supper club. Wow, amazing food, street ahead of anything I’ve had in south hams and with lovely hosts. Brilliant, can’t wait to go to another supper club. Shame it’s a 600 mike round trip.
Went here for lunch for the first time on Monday, what a great place, the food was so tasty, and they had so much choice. I have to go back to try all the other food on offer. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Loved it, If you're in Brixham you really must try this place.
We went to the Supper Club this evening. Fantastic menu, beautiful tasting food and well presented. Lovely atmosphere and friendly attentive staff. We will be back!
We had lunch here about a month ago and it was delicious. We are from Falmouth where we are spoilt for choice of good places to eat. I had crab which came with wonderful fresh chopped relish and salad. Definately go back again.
We had a lovely meal (vegan and gluten free butternut squash and coconut soup for me, and Porky’s revenge for my partner), freshly squeezed orange juice, coffee and cake (vegan and gluten free). It was all delicious and we even got a couple of pieces of cake to take home . Very friendly staff, and Bentley our dog was also welcome which was great .
We had 2 amazing breakfasts and bought 2 handmade donuts all was very yummy ! Great food lovely coffee friendly staff next time we visit Brixham we will def be coming back
Was my first time visiting The Curious Kitchen yesturday and definately will not be my last! Lots of choice and you can choose exactly what you would like with it. It all looked amazing was struggling to decide so went with a recommedation, the chorizo eggs...it didn't dissapoint so delicious and the sour dough bread amazing 👌🏼. Friendly and helpful staff, great location and easy to find. Would highly recommend a visit and try a slice of cake, can't wait to come back and work through the menu!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Warning!!!! We just popped in for a Chai latte and a couple of iced shakes when I felt totally pressured and intimidated by the cake or the "dark destroyer" as I now know it to be! I desperately fought it off, however I was totally overpowered and succumbed to its force....... I am a survivor of The Curious Kitchen
Top notch food and great service, can’t recommend it highly enough! Great selection of GF/veggie food too, which is great for folks that way inclined. Already planning to go again!
Really lovely staff we got there just before closing and was still served and not rushed out brilliant !
Really enjoyed the pancakes they looked and tasted incredible, the staff were friendly and helpful when I wanted to change my choice off the menu slightly. Will definitely be returning!
Oh My Goodness! This place is fantastic! Staff, so efficient and friendly plus so informative. Food, wow out of this world! We came in and had a Chirozo Baked Eggs and fantastic, so much so, that we came back next morning, and tried two more types, swooping to taste both (one with spinach, the other mushrooms & truffle oil), and are even going back in tomorrow morning, as we leave to go home, so we done miss the last two flavours xxx The pastries he made this morning we also to die for, a mixture between an apple turnover, a mince pie, and grated beetroot that adds earthiness and gorgeous colour and pastry was buttery and flakey xxx can you please do some more for 10am tomorrow? Xxx please please please xxx
Love it here. Perfect for brunch or a late lunch. Lovely atmosphere and great food and always able to cater for gluten free. Would highly recommend a visit !
Had an absolutely incredible dinner here at the Curious Kitchen last night. Front of house was attentive and friendly, and all aspects of the decor and ambience were spot on- informal and tasteful. Chef Adam effortlessly brought together a beautiful 3 course meal, not before a delicate little amuse-bouche soup of squash and fresh sourdough with smoked butter. The summer veg salad was light and crunchy, followed by the star of the show, the lamb. Tender and rich with a stunning gravy and velvety minted Hollandaise, I could have buried my face in the plate. The lemon posset to finish was very clever, as it cleansed the pallet with sharp rhubarb and refreshing lemon, yet wasn't too heavy. An absolute triumph. Keep up the good work people
Great comfortable cafe with an interesting menu, very well made coffee and home made cakes -recommend a visit
Been here quite a lot recently and never disappointed with the food, drinks, service or options. Reluctant to tell to many people about it as it is hard to get a seat through popularity already. If you are in Brixham a visit here is a must!
Amazing!!!! Went for the 6 course fine dining and was blown away.... Food was exceptional and a great night had by all!! Will certainly be back again and would highly recommend to others
Amazing lunch/brunch. Working my way through the menu while working in Brixham I love the crab on toast and avacado on toast with poached eggs. Coffee is also on point Relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff.
:-) Went here for lunch yesterday in the pouring rain ! The staff were welcoming, the food was imaginative and tasty (pork burger with chorizo bacon and onions; avocado on sourdough bread with poached eggs and coriander ) the coffee was great and the hot chocolate was awesome !! And as if that wasn't enough the music was an intelligent and eclectic choice :-) Oh, and did I mention the sticky toffee cake was to die for :-)
