When everything was getting too much, I would jump in the shower. That was my sanctuary and me-time when mine were smaller. What do you do for a bit of sanity?

I know this all too well and I admit that I did get frustrated and impatient at times - I just wanted to meet my baby - but I also know that this was all part of my labour.

It was a sad moment to say goodbye to so many mums today, some of whom I have known for almost a year as they have gone from bump to crawling baby. But I am so glad that friendships have been made over the last few months as this is so valuable when being a new mum.
