This VW Touereg's door was very heavily dented on the edge of a skip almost cutting through the door skin.

Here it is all shiny and new. This was a complex repair due to the nature of the changing curves on the door both top to bottom and side to side. I.e. No symmetry.

You'll have to forgive me. I'm so crap at this Facebook thing. Having to load pictures in the reverse order they were taken in to keep them in sequence seems daft to me. It's like reading texts in reverse then having to make sense of what someone said in the preceding one!!!!!

Today's job. Repair to a Tesla Model S 85+. This is an expensive and very quick machine with a 0 to 60 time of 2.8 seconds. A complex repair saving the customer a new bumper cover and total re-paint of the entire front.

How about this repair of the week? At first glance it looks an impossible mobile repair right? Can you see Chips Away taking this on with an airbrush? I thought not. The bumper to wing mounting brackets were destroyed and the wing was, well, beyond repair so new wing to the rescue and repaired outside the customers house. Same day repair start to finish. The owner had been told by a body shop that they would need the car for a fortnight because the damage was so severe!!! At five- yes FIVE times my quote.

Here's a mini Cooper I have just restored to glory. The owner said the original paint damage was caused by a jet wash getting under the lacquer which then peeled off. Those things can be lethal to a car's bodywork.

Having owned quite a few classic cars myself, I really enjoy maintaining them and bringing them back to life. I've known the owner of this MG for years and here's a bit of work I did on his pride and joy a few weeks ago.

Here's a customers car from a few weeks ago. She came out in the morning and found this mess after it had been hit by a skip lorry which drove off. I repaired it outside her house much to her astonishment. The pics show the pathway of the repair.
