We have changed suppliers for our Sunday meat draw. A great variation of prizes to include a voucher to visit Prentice Butchers and select something of your choice.

We have just had the best roast ever there. The lamb was so tender & plenty of it. Loads of veg including cauliflower cheese. Lovely service. Going back Tues for our anniversary. 10 out of 10!

We are lucky to have the Devon Dumpling as our local and go there frequently. Good food, great atmosphere and we’ve never been disappointed. Highly recommend :)

Had a meal last night with my husband. Both of us loved the food. Was delicious. Would go back again and again. The staff were really friendly to, especially the guy behind the bar!!

Only criticism the corner we sat in at the back right side has alot of damp... didn't create a perfect romantic setting but with a bit of TLC that corner could look a little nicer. Other than that a beautiful lovely pub!!

Very busy so service was understandingly slow, but compensated by management with some free drinks. Food was really good quality pub grub though. It’s a lively pub with lots of noise going on so not for a quiet night out, but staff were very pleasant. We will definitely revisit at some point.

No soap in the ladies loo ( not even an empty dispenser ) I found this out around 9 pm as we were leaving,so not sure how long they'd not had any !! Told the lady as we paid and she said she'd sort it ,and I'm sure she did !

Would go back if in the area again.

I have been using the Dumpling for over 20 years and i have never had anything to complain about. but the last time i was there i felt we were being hurried along and when we asked for desserts were told it would be half an hour.

We said ok and a short while later they came back and said it would be an hour, so we left. Obviously the desired effect.

Also the new menu does not have a Mixed Grill on it any more and although the Trio of meats was nice it is not what i was looking forward to. Shame, as i have always reccomended the Dumpling to everyone. Now i will have to find somewhere else to use and recommend.

Why do people insist on trying to fix things that are not broke.

Went yesterday waited to long for food,when it arrived the fish was over cooked in old oil,not light and crispie waited to long for dessert,I like to sit and eat in a reasonable amount of time,but this was far to long,they were not over busy ,when I came home felt sick all evening,should of sent the food back,will not be in a rush to go again,Morrison food is by far better.
