Love it here, lovely food that is great value for money. Very reasonable prices for Manchester city centre and love the laid back relaxed atmosphere, would deffo recommend for basic pub food....p.s love that the food is served on tin plates���

It had a great atmosphere the seats are comfortable it's clean unlike most places in town the drinks prices were fair and most of all they had my favourite spiced rum old j so I was happy all in all it was a great first impression and I'll be definitely returning in the near future

In here every other day or so, good food, friendly staff, fair pricing. Best bar in the centre fo town by a country mile. I love this place

I've only been in twice but both times it's been great! The selection of beers is quite something, and they're very reasonably priced. Mostly friendly staff and the food menu looks interesting - had I not just had a burrito I'd have been very tempted to give it a go! Definitely would recommend - best nights are Monday - Sunday, I've heard.

I had absolutely the single best Cobb Salad I have ever had in there!! It was just delicious and every ingredient was in perfect proportion, with no chopped cucumber to spoil it!! We had to wait a while and the Manager gave us a drink as way of apology but it was well worth waiting for. It was absolutely delicious! Compliments to the Chef! ���

A nice early lunch. Enjoyed the grilled cheese sandwich, was really tasty. A pint of the Dockyard larger. Good value. Best bit = dog friendly, the team also provided a water bowl for our little French bulldog. Enjoyed again!

Very nice and friendly place first visit and it won't be the last drinks was very reasonable didn't eat there but think we might next time food that was being served looked lovely

Very good night out and great range of drinks. However, whenever me and my friend went to order a drink last night (vodka soda) we were charged a different price each time. It varied between £2.25 to £3.75 depending on who was serving. Despite an otherwise good night, this felt a bit underhand @[658602224:Jenny Fisher]

Safe to say I won't be returning here to watch any of the rugby. Or for any reason if I can help it.



Smashed through my work yesterday, determined to get out of the office in time so that we'd get a great seat for the Rugby at Dockyard and be able to catch all the pre-match stuff and the opening ceremony. Kick off wasn't until 8:00 but I made it there for 5:30 and made sure all my mates did the same, assuring them that this is going to be THE place to watch the Rugby World Cup over the coming weeks. After all, you've been banging on enough on Twitter about how you're showing the rugby, every single game etc etc.



Eventually the pre match build up and opening ceremony began. We're a few drinks in, I'm super excited... but a bit confused as to why it was on mute. Seems weird, so I asked one of your staff if they would be putting the sound on soon and she says it won't be on until kick off. But "as soon as it kicks off, sound will be on, don't worry." So ANOTHER hour of buying rounds, shouting to be heard over shit music, and waiting patiently for 8:00 so we can get properly into it.



Finally, it's time. Quick trip to the bar to get another round in for everyone before it starts... still no sound. The game's actually on now. It's fine, give it a few minutes... nope. Maybe after this song finishes... nope. Almost ten mins in now, this is a bit silly. I'll just check at the bar.



"Sound? Nah, we're not having the sound on".



Barman was having none of it. Couldn't give me a reason, just said they didn't want to put it on and that I shouldn't have been told that there would be any sound. No apology, didn't appear to give the slightest toss, even after I explained that the rugby was the only reason we'd gone there and spent a load of money on dinner and drinks throughout the evening.



Obviously we walked out and won't go back. Missed most of the first half as it was spent trying to find somewhere decent to watch it. Cheers, Dockyard.
