Went yesterday with friends and quite a few children. The staff couldnŌĆÖt do enough to help and were so friendly- even had a guy telling the kids jokes! Food was really good, highly recommended!

We went yesterday especially to get mussels from last week's specials. They were amazing value, and very tasty. A whole kilogram of mussels.



Usually on a Sunday we'd go for the roast, which is always excellent - be sure to order extra honey roasted root vegetables.



It's also my go to place to book if I'm organising a birthday/xmas/other occasion meal as they're always great at dealing with large groups, no fuss or hassle.

Took my daughter for a birthday treat....really enjoyed it!!!! We both ate from the 'specials'. I had Duck which was cooked perfectly, served with sweet potato mash, kale, bacon and mushroom. Delicious..... my daughter had King Prawn Linguine which she loves with MASSES of chilli... We asked, they provided, as each meal is cooked indiviually. The service was excellent, very friendly without being intrusive. Prices were reasonable. The place was busy but not to the point of overcrowding. I had pre booked and when we arrived they knew exactly who we were. This isnt somewhere you need to get dressed up for, casual is just fine, there are plenty of people just socialising and drinking, but most definately recommend.

The Yorkshire Burrito is to die for. They also serve Amstel which is a nice touch :)

Our Sunday roast was great today!! You could tell that it is home made (Yorkshire puddings can actually taste so good ’┐Į’┐Į) and done with a lot of care.My daughter's Smokey Swine burger was finger-licking!! Staff smiling&friendly, the quality&the service just the way they are supposed to be ’┐Į’┐Į

Once again flawless food, I had a special (LAMB) and our gurt had the steak and camembert to share for a starter..We absolutely love this place.. all the staff are wonderful friendly folk.

Had my retirement meal here last year. Was brilliant service and a very good meal.

Great place the staff are really friendly and helpful. We had to wait for food (it was Sunday and really busy) and were told at the time there would be a long wait but it really was worth it. The chicken satay is georgous and I can recommend the hazlenut milk stout. I can see more visits being paid in the future :)

Got treated to MotherŌĆÖs Day lunch here. Best 3 course meal IŌĆÖve had in ages. All home cooked, full of flavour and value for money. Amazingly friendly staff. Highly recommended and definitely be coming back. Thanks xx

Got recommended this place after we went to The Devonshire (The Old House) for a lunch. Service there was terrible and we left and headed out into the snow. Someone at Bungalows & Bears mentioned how good the food is here so we headed up. Friendly staff and they let us choose a table. Food was lovely, proper home made dinners. Will be back again very soon ’┐Į

Friendly staff as soon as we entered the building. Ordered a Yorkshire Burrito and loved it especially with the NHS staff discount. Will definitely be returning to try other things on the menu as the burgers and chips looked great too

Fab vegan spinach and mushroom tagliatelle! Very friendly staff. Thankyou. Perhaps you could add a vegan dessert to your menu? Will come again ’┐Į

Came here today with my mum, we had 3 courses and everything tasted amazing! Food tasty, staff were attentive and super friendly & we we're pleasantly surprised when we received the bill! Look forward to coming back next time! thanks for a lovely Mother's Day x

Been here a few times for the pub quiz which is always a laugh and a great atmosphere. Today we had a Christmas lunch (for 20 of us - which even some big chains would struggle with) and I cannot fault the service or the food. Absolutely lovely food and a really attentive service - nothing was too much trouble! Thank you for such a lovely experience!

A fantastic warm welcome as soon as we arrived. Really friendly staff and very tasty fresh cooked food. One happy husband worked his way through the selection of little critters beers. Will definitely be back next time we are in sheffield.

Called in for a meal before going to the SU theatre next door. I had a lovely steak and salad, husband & father had a Dr Doolittle burger each. We all enjoyed our meals which were served promptly and with a smile. Everything was clean, including the toilets, no problems. Would go again if in the city, but live 100 odd miles away.

I like the staff and the music. Didn't eat so would probably rate it higher if I had perhaps tried the food. The beer from the brewery was a bit expensive and a touch bland. Sorry but I tried quite a few and I wasn't particularly impressed.
