The view from our patio on this beautiful afternoon. It would appear that there are more than a few 'black sheep' in Marchington!

The marquee is up in the car park ready for this weekend's beer fest at The D&P. A big thank you to all the kind guys from the village who came along to help, much appreciated.

Not all heroes wear capes ... some of them just organise amazing weekends of real ale and great music at your local pub. So don your drinking tights, slip your pants on over your trousers and fly down to the Dog & Partridge from tomorrow, for the famous Marchington Melee...

The morning dog walk is much cheered by signs of spring emerging in Marchington village. However, the Dog and Partridge is still lovely and cosy on these colder evenings :)

Before and after. New log burner and fireplace almost finished. We need a basket for the logs, but it's up and running. We're delighted with it, what do you think?
