0800hrs : Storm Dennis is a bit of a damp squib at The Orchard but it's still damp ! Hector and I have just got back from our morning walk and as it stands at the moment, it's too wet for training to go ahead. I'll update this page and the Newsflash page of my website at 0930hrs.

Why did the Little Piggies house fail ?? Because it wasn’t built on solid foundations. Same is true about dog training. The foundations have to be rock solid before you build.

Can you please look at Carrie's Change.org document and sign it if you are in agreement. This is a retrograde step in dog training harness design and every signature might make a difference.

So after a day of thwarted plans, I can safely say I was bored by 11.30am. I'm only used to having time off when I've got things planned. My sock drawer (and other sundry drawers - no not those type of draws), is now tidy, as is the Scentwork UK equipment cupboard. Lots of social media and email admin done and then a wonderful walk with people and their dogs at 4pm - so good to have some company - Hector and I are not used to doing all our walks on our own so this was literally, a breath of fresh air. Hope your Sunday plans turned into an unexpected opportunity and hopefully we'll all be back at training next weekend.

Sorry but there's one thing I cannot control - the weather !! Actually, two things, the weather and the local parking police (those of you who come to training will know exactly what I mean !)
