A historic country inn with locally sourced home cooked food and fine ales located next to the ancient stone circles at Stanton Drew, Bristol.
The Druid'S Arms Description
Ian, Louise and new manager, Carrianne would like to welcome you to The Druid's Arms here in the beautiful Stanton Drew, Chew Valley.
The overall concept of our pub is simple; we serve good food and an array of drinks in relaxed, welcoming surroundings. Our head chef uses the freshest and best of ingredients and buys locally wherever possible.
If you are looking for a quick, satisfying lunchtime meal, try something off our Light Bites menu which offers pub classics at superb value for money. In the evening, why not get more adventurous and try some of the Leon’s more creative dishes. Alternatively, you may just want to enjoy a glass of wine or local ale at the bar whilst enjoying the friendly, welcoming bar atmosphere.
We welcome everyone so, whether it’s a case of enjoying a drink in front of our large open fire in the winter, or popping along on a Sunday afternoon and soaking up the rays in our large beer garden- we’d love to see you!
Children are more than welcome at The Druids - we have high-chairs and of course can cater for the little ones too. . there’s even a jar of sweets on the bar!

Stopped by for a meal on recommendation from local hotel owner. My fiance Carla had the burger and thought it was outstanding. Excellent meal.
Steak night yesterday, lovely meal done just right and real value for money. Mushrooms and peppercorn sauce to die for. The Druids is a proper village pub with really welcoming staff and a blazing fire. The great food is a bonus. Highly recommended.
Spent a fantastic Saturday night listening to Ross Kirk playing his heart out. Great crowd, great atmosphere, great pub. We'll be back.
Myself and a friend ate here this evening and I must say - we were highly impressed !! From the warm welcome from the landlord and landlady and the lovely staff that served us, the great quality food (creamed mushrooms starter and ribeye steak was gorgeous) along with the lovely open fire .... and I must add a comment to how pristinely clean the whole place is :-) very enjoyable few hours and will definitely return again soon !!! Thank you Druids Team !!!
It just ticks all the boxes! Friendly staff and locals, excellent surroundings, and they do a cracking cup of tea aswell.

Fantastic pub with excellent food, really friendly locals, I can totally recommend.
Did a detour to the Druid' Arms to have a late meal evening meal before driving to Dartmouth. Lovely food. Great friendly reception from a lovely young lady who was very efficient, customer focused, a bit of fun and had a lovely, genuine happy personality. You can't beat service with a smile.
Couldn't find one single fault. The most welcoming and friendly staff. A gorgeous garden which was very family friendly including a bouncy castle for the children. We had Roast dinners all round and they were AMAZING!!! All really reasonably priced and great quality. Was lovely to relax in the sun whilst the children played. We will most definitely be back!
Can't say I've been here for the best part of 50 years, used to be bottle of coke and a bag of crisps with my parents. But what a meal we all had, I started off with Crab then cockles and mussels in a creamy sauce chunky chips for the main, that was followed by a selection of deserts. It was absolutely perfect. Ryan the chef has a very good background in gluten free cooking so we were well catered for. I will be returning for another visit or two!!
Been in for steak night a few times lately and it just gets better and better!
Nice place food good only had a small ham and chips but found it was plenty for me. Husband had large ham and eggs three thick slices of ham.
It's a great pub, come rain or shine. The garden has standing stones and many fairy doors for the kids to spot. I like the great edits one of the locals makes to the 'blackboards', this last visit one of the specials was an 'ork pie A great pub. Doombar on draught too
