Today The Ducklings Day Nursery had an unannounced inspection from Environmental Health and once again achieved 5 stars for food hygiene!

We will be filming each day, so if you could send your child in blue or grey on the days they attend that would be great. However it is not essential and completely optional.

Today we invited the children to wear a football kit or dress in colours to celebrate The World Cup. It is safe to say we travelled the globe with kits from: Columbia, Australia and England plus a couple of home teams! And nothing celebrates football like Hayley‚Äôs FA chicken burgers, football peas, and spectator chips, plus a good kick around in the garden! Good luck everyone with whichever team you support and for tonight come on England ūüŹīů†Āßů†ĀĘů†Ā•ů†Āģů†Āßů†ĀŅ ūüź§

Sensory Playdough Play - using lemons ūüćč and limes. Helping our little Ducklings ūüź§ develop their fine motor skills, hand-eye co-ordination, stimulate their senses, use their imagination and get creative. Plus nothing beats watching a toddler taste a lemon or lime. ūüėÄ
