Great food and atmosphere, service sometimes a little slow but always cheerful.

The pub itself is nice with a well kept nice garden too. The staff were friendly if a little slow. The food was standard pub chain food but the last course took so long (an hour) that we had to leave so we never got it.

Wow....What can I say? Well let me attempt to put my 'experience' into words.

Firstly, the food is great. The menu offers a wide range of different dishes like mouth watering burgers and scrumptious steaks (my personal favourites!). The stone baked pizza is also very well made. If you like your salads, you will be pleasantly surprised by the flavours of the dressing which they use.

HOWEVER, the service is just a touch off my liking unfortunately which affected my overall experience at this establishment. The staff come across as very pleasing and at times funny but the speed at which the food is prepared and delivered to the customer needs to be improved as soon as possible. Granted, this gives the customers the opportunity to socialise with each other but for the majority of customers they will be disappointed with the service.

To conclude this review, this pub offers great food for a reasonable price although this is debatable. The staff come across as pleasant and very friendly but I just can't get over the fact that the time it takes for the food to arrive just takes a long duration. Come to this pub if you enjoy your food and dont mind your food being a bit late arriving.

What has happened? We went to celebrate a birthday and clearly something is wrong. We have been going for many years with great service and good food but yesterday was terrible. Not enough staff, too long a wait and poorly presented food. The pub was not busy and perhaps I can now see why. Its also starting to look a little tatty.... Come on Vintage Inns' - you can do better.

Measly portions. Waited over half an hour for the meals to arrive. There were more chips on my son's plate than on my plate. He had the sausage and chips and I had the fish and chips from the adult menu. I was still hungry after eating my meal which took about 3 minutes to get through so I ordered another bowl of chips which arrived in what looked like an ashtray rather than a bowl. Diabolical. I won't be coming back. Poor value for money and costing approx £96.00 for four adults and 2 children. My sons were still hungry afterwards too. This place should be shut down.

Great freindly staff, quick service, food came very quickly and was excellent. steak was a little crispy on the top and the chips were great (massive home cooked) and my Guinness was poured correctly very happy very pleased

Diabolical food and time.
Arrived on time and waited for a menu, then waited and waited. Drinks order failed to arrive for 20 minute. The main course was nice. The dessert menu was left with us for another 20 minutes. The Crème Brule was obviously just out of the fridge with a minute caramel topping. How a chef can put a cold crumble on a baking hot dish I have no idea!! Diabolical waste of time and money on a special day......ruined !
