My name is Mel and I have a passion for birth and wholeheartedly believe that birth should be the most positive of experiences and for EVERYONE!
I am a mother to 5 beautiful girls and a birth and postnatal Doula. I'm also a Positive Birth Movement facilitator in the Epsom area and a member of the Epsom and St Helier trusts MSLC.
A Doula is a very privileged role to hold, being invited into the moment where parents are created and a new life is born is special beyond words. I believe in your birth choices and would support and uphold this along side you. .
Your Doula is your key to continuity of carer, unbiased information provider and evidence based sign poster.
I have experience and knowledge with differing types of births including caesarean, VBAC, and homebirth.
My knowledge also extends to the extra support needed by women experiencing childbirth following childhood sexual abuse, sexual assault and rape.
