We are looking for a Junior Sous Chef that can continue to support the Head Chef and keep up the very high standards we have here at The Earl of Chesterfield.
At this destination eatery you can expect to find dishes such as braised blade of beef, belly pork, steak & ale pie and other classics. Ingredients are sourced locally and are put togethe...r with passion and creativity.
As the Junior Sous Chef you will be working a 4 day week consisting of straight shifts. You will help with menu development and will also help keep the kitchen tidy and compliant.
The menu features pub classics, jazzed up using fresh local produce.
If you love cooking with local, British produce, then this role could be exactly what you are looking for.
Salary being offered is £19.000 plus tips.

Walked our dog to the Earl of Chesterfield from Radcliffe for his first pub lunch in the beautiful sunshine today (we ate, he curled up under the table). Food was delicious and service very good, looking forward to making it a regular event.

Just been for Sunday tea with hubby and the kids and it was just fantastic. Wonderfully friendly atmosphere, really tasty food and kids eat for free after 4pm! Can't wait for the weather to improve a bit so they can take advantage of the outdoor play area a bit more. Really lovely pub and one we love going to. Highly recommend. 5 �

Came yesterday on recommendation. Wasn't disappointed. Great Sunday lunch. Food was lovely, the staff were lovely. Surroundings were lovely. All round lovely first visit and will be back. 2 adults & 3 kids all left full as a drum.

Came here for a Christmas meal. The risotto was delicious, so was the dessert. The pub was clean and tidy and nicely decorated.

Came along tonight after seeing the kids eat free offer on Facebook. Absolutely delicious food, warm, comfortable, relaxed surroundings, great service and excellent value.

Booked last minute for Sunday lunch, handy online booking system. Pub was lovely, spacious but still cosy. Food was delicious, staff friendly and helpful and very child friendly. All in all a great Sunday lunch, thank you 5*

Another fab meal. We went for lunch in half term. Three of us had the steak and ale pie which was outstanding. The butternut squash soup was also lovely and served with a sandwich on crusty thick bread.

Children's portions are generous and it's very good value.
