Why do we live so far away. Since the ever young Giles took over the quality of the food and service has risen every year. Rabbit, local crab main course and well chosen wine make it well worth the journey.

Who said salads are boring !!!

Not here they're not ...

The most beautiful healthy classy salad, so tasty and full of interesting things,

And the fish and chips were pretty awsome too ..

All finished off with a lovely glass of wine in the garden watching the planes dart around the sky's .....

Just perfect ❤️

We have just returned home after having a 3 course meal bought for us from buy a gift .com. The food was lovely and the service was very attentive ,definitely recommend and hope to return on a sunny day to enjoy the views and a spot of lunch.

We had a really well presented meal here last night, (4 of us), although there was a large party in to dine, service wasn't a problem.

Great menu with local specials. Good clean atmosphere. Prices were reasonable given the high quality of food.

One of very few establishments to have really soft toilet paper!.

Top quality on all levels. Great location, excellent food and top class staff. Hope to go again very soon.

This is the second time we have been to this pub/restaurant for lunch.

The service is really good along with the food.

A really nice experience.

Superb food and service ! We both had the Duck Egg and asparagus starter, beef fillet main, crumble for me and my wife had sticky toffee pudding. We loved it all !

User

Quite simply the best Pub in the country... The food, the views, the locals, the owners... Bloody awesome... Make sure you go... Giles & Ruth know exactly how to look after you... Xx

Lovely Jewell in the South Downs - 4/5th visit

Stunning food, ambience, setting!

Kids treated us for Father's Day, win win for me!!

We had all sorts!! All 3 sharers! The best Camembert EVER... we are experts! Never had the top skin removed and then grilled!!

Had lobster, lamb and steaks! All Devine!!

And In the same building Jerusalem was penned by William Blake!

Think posh pub! Posh ingredients and a verydiwn to earth vibe!!

This wasn't but look out for groupon deals we've used these too!!!

Looking forward to our next visit! It's not often we travel 40 mins for a meal- but they're worth it!!!

Had a lovely family birthday lunch. Good food and good service albeit a little chilly, would have been nice to have had the fire on!

User

Fabulous food, had the set lunch menu, it's hard to choose because they all look so good. Our waitress was lovely, really friendly, as was all the staff. If you live in Chichester, lucky you, worth a trip out if you're not close by. Lavant is a pretty village & not far from Goodwood if you're going racing.

Excellent setting with a lovely beer garden, just right for this weather. Food is succulent,

Reasonably priced. Staff very polite and accommodating. We'll definitely be going back. X

As the awards stack up... it's easy to see and experience why? Giles, Ruth and the EOM Team are simply brilliant. Our third year at the Revival brings us once more to this jewel in the South Downs. The ambience and food is always top notch and with an array of drinks and fine wine to complement, it's always hard to take that taxi home. Once again we thank you.

User

As always perfect so need I say more staff great, food great atmosphere great

User

A wonderful hostelry with an outstanding view of the South Downs and prices to match. Excellent dining in a large dining room with a well heeled clientele.

User

Please look pleased to see people who are paying you money rather than just serving them . The food is superb but from Giles downwards there is a feeling that they are doing you a favour by letting you in.

User

Ordered lamb 5 ways but only got it 4 ways!

No salted caramel ice cream so that cancelled out 2 desserts, declined dessert & just had coffee
