The Edgemoor Hotel Dartmoor

Lovely room, delicious food, friendly staff. Really enjoyed our stay here, and a great location for exploring this part of Devon: Dartmoor, Bovey Tracey, Newton Abbot and the south Devon coast.

My girlfriend has just told me she has had genuinely the most special valentines of her life....I would of course like to take 100% credit for that.!! ..of course I can't.. .it was the most wonderful stay at your hotel made only possible by all members of staff who worked so hard to create a truly magical evening...everyone was friendly,helpful and polite....our room (Baskerville) was perhaps the loviest room I have ever slept a night in....(thank you James for that!)..... everything was immaculate and clean and I can't recommend this hotel strongly enough.....just a truly special stay, thank you so much to everyone that made a Valentine's evening one I shall never forget........five stars definitely!!

A lovely place, comfortable and relaxing during what was a potentially stressful time. Brilliant for a base. Great staff, good food. Breakfast cooked to order. Lots of local visitors, says it all!
