Rather weary de luxe hotel. Ideal for families.
Beautiful grounds and house, although inside needs refurbishing and doesn't do it justice. The staff are absolutely fabulous, as is the food and the spa. The chef is creative and, for me, accommodated all my food allergies whilst producing delicious and tasty meals for which I genuinely thank him. The spa is great and the facial with the head, neck and shoulder massage transports you to another world. Lots of stairs so maybe ask for a lower floor room if you have mobility problems. The bed was perfect, the room and it's contents tired. Bathroom and shower great. Signal poor for mobile phones. A stay made memorable by the staffs attention and food.
Good food and a modern spa, quite popular so not that quiet
Lovely location and great staff. Good facilities. Will consider going again, only hesitation is that it is too 'family friendly' and we are a couple.
This place is awesome. The area is beautiful, the staff are great and the spa, while a little small is lovely. Must try is the swan neck water spout! Food in the evening was elegant and tasted devine. You pay for what you get at this place, so it might seem a little expensive, but well worth paying that little extra for a step up in luxury.
Used the day spa facilities. Beautiful setting for a spa, great facilities and lovely treatments. Highly recommended

Room was lovely with a gorgeous view. Shower was great! Spa was decent with outdoor hot tub. We had a hot Stones massage which was amazing. All the staff were friendly and the service was great.
Beautiful building with a lovely setting and grounds. Had a spa day here and it was fantastic, all the staff were friendly and professional and our lunch was very tasty. Our treatments were incredibly and would happily come back for another one!
