Great salad, huge!! Good music, bit of a wait for someone to take our order.

Food was excellent and service just as good, we were seen to in record time and throroughly enjoyed ourselves, huge portions too! Will be quick to hurry back

Food is simple magnificent! Always get a seat and kid friendly.

Food is great, everything is clean but the most exciting and interesting is stuff. They served me with such style as I was king. Amazing place!

Fabulous food every time and good service as well.

Great place to eat. Obviously little bit expensive but the food is worth it. Always packed when I go and they always managed to squeeze me onto a table which I like. Because I don't like booking in advance. Id recommend this to my friends.

Had an unfortunate lunch today, decided to take a relative there as I've had a few lovely evening meals at the Estuary. Firstly, the entire Deli section on the menu was all meat, not even a vegetarian 'quiche of the day' was an option. When we did order, I received a mozzarella wrap that was soggy and full of water as the cheese wasn't drained properly. It was still cold inside when the wrap was grilled on the outside.

My relative asked for no salad on the side of her sandwich, with the exception of tomatoes. She received the plate with slices of bread 3 inches thick (not kidding) and half a dozen un-chopped tomatoes that had just been thrown on the plate.

Service was poor, received a different waiter each time and took a long while to get attention (it didn't seem very busy inside).

Disappointed as I have enjoyed my previous experiences, It has seemed to has lost it's quality... what a shame.

We ate in The Estuary Gourmet Foods (part of the estuary restaurant chain) and could not believe that you have to pay nearly double price on a sandwich to eat in and was not told about this beforehand by the lady and also the eat in menu does not have sandwiches on it they are just up on the board behind the counter showing one price which is not the price I paid to eat in absolute rip off

The service is very bad. We sat and sat no one offered a drink while we looked at menu. Gave up went Ugos - much better

Glasses had lipstick marks on them. our food order took ages with people getting served before us when they had ordered after us. order a chicken and salsa sandwich, the sandwich came without the salsa when we asked she just gave us a pot to do it ourselves!! We ordered curly fries which came out when we were almost finished our sandwich. I recommended this place as its been really good but I now feel embarrassed to have brought my friends here. Won't be coming back!

My friend has even moved her bday meal with all our friends else where. We were ignored then when our prosecco was finally brought to the table the lady didn't say a word to us, put it on the table and walked off without opening it! Steak was hugely over cooked and we were constantly waiting to be served. When I spoked to the manager he took my details and never got back to me!

I would first like to say that everyone else in our party of four loved their food. It was very tasty and nice big portions. My food was also very nice but one of my skewers came out as the wrong meat (I had ordered lamb and got steak) And when I said about it another was brought to me but it was still wrong. At first I thought my tastebuds must be off but then my partner tried it ad also said the same to him. Also the second skewer was brought out very very rare which was not to my liking so I didn't eat it.

This is not the reason for the 1 star. The reason for the one star is for the poor customer service.

When we arrived to our table booked by my friend for 7.30 the lady that took us over to the table who I can assume was a manager, said to us very snappily 'we need this table by 9.30' nothing else just this.

From then everything was fine waitress was very nice brought our drinks very quickly and efficiently :)

Then when I spoke to the waitress about my food she was very nice and went an spoke to the kitchen. Then a different waiter came back and said 'the chef sad it is 100% lamb but will do you another one' sounding very annoyed that I had questioned him.

Then another one was bought to me and like I mentioned, same problem. I didn't say anything about the second one but didn't eat it. When the waitress came to collect our plates she was very nice and mentioned that I hadn't eaten it and she said she was very sorry and that she would speak to the chef. She came back and said that they were still adamant it was lamb but she was going to take the meal off our bill which I thought was very good and was very happy to leave it at that. Then then lady/manager who showed us through came back and told us my meal wouldn't be taken only the price of my partners beer.

I don't feel they treated my complaint as a serious complaint and feel that every complaint should be treated as serious and dealt with with the assumption that 'the customer is always right'
