What a hidden gem! Beautiful restaurant / hotel. Friendly, helpful staff. We dined on Saturday evening both opting for fish and chips with mine being the Gluten free option. Good portion sizes - food was delicious and good value.



The cocktail are exceptional - highly recommend.

We stayed in a kingsize room, clean, and by all accounts a very nice room for £80. Only complaint is that they need to have more than 1 iron. 1 of the other guests took the iron into their room and left it in the room when they went out all evening , it wasn't even returned by the morning so we could not iron our clothes to go out for the evening or when we went out for the day. (Totally inconsiderate people)!

We had the best meal here yesterday. One of the best meals out in a long time. Great service. Wonderful food. Myself and husband both had the steak and this did not disappoint �� followed by Eton mess pudding of course. I also sampled a cocktail after hearing rave reviews about them. I had the Rhububble � wow. It's like drinking a rhubarb and custard sweet. Delish �

I will definitely be coming back.

I can now also feedback to clients as they are constantly asking what you are like, being that we're just across the road.

The cocktail bartender was passionate about her craft and it showed in the end products.

Sunday lunch was fabulous....roast beef and roast pork with yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, lots of veg and gravy! Very tasty. Nice staff, good atmosphere. Followed with Eton Mess and Sticky Toffee pud...defo worth a shor walk over from Windsor.

Such a warm and cosy atmosphere, tried the delicious guinea fowl 3 ways- didn't disappoint,and the best gin cocktails in town! Love this place!

Stayed here on Tuesday, I happened to arrive early around 1pm they were happy for me to book in at that time which was Great.

I received a very warm welcome throughout my stay, I normally stay in Windsor but going forward it will be Eton Mess for my 1st choice.

The Public car park is only a 3 minute walk away & for 24hrs £10

Lovely decor – contemporary, comfortable and informal. Friendly, helpful staff. Great cocktails (spirits and beers too) and delicious food – eaten there twice in the last two weeks, really good! Definitely worth a visit.

Loved it, great food, fun friendly staff, super atmosphere, how fab to have a super place back in Eton where you can go for a nice drink or a cosy meal or a fun night out with a group of friends, it ticks all the boxes. Looking forward to to my next visit.

Great service, really tasty food, would recommend the tender beef and also the fish and chips. When I asked for extra must peas they were more than accommodating. Our dog is always welcomed with a bowl of water and the cocktail hour and rhubarb fizz is a favourite. One of our favourite local places.

Great Christmas lunch with our team, the staff are very friendly and helpful.



Bartender asked if we wanted a cocktail surprise, I advised my choice of spirit and was greeted with a stunning turquoise drink that was delicious. Followed by a 3 course lunch, portions are more than fair and the food is exactly what I wanted and met all expectations.



The decor and vibe is friendly, warm and can imagine how many great nights I’ll be having here in the near future.

Very nicely decorated, a good mix of contemporary lighting and original features. The bar manager in me noticed a lot of light bulbs out which needs some attention. Our waiter was charming and very helpful. Unfortunately the service was quite slow generally but we weren't in a hurry so not a big problem. We all ordered the mixed roast, again it was quite slow in arriving but it was worth the wait. Everything on the plate was delicious, beef, chicken and pork, stuffing, fab gravy, lovely Yorkies. An excellent meal, thank you.

Had a very enjoyable meal for my birthday. Cocktails were very good including the shot especially made for us. The steak was brilliant will be back.



Staff extremely helpful even when it was very busy

Found this place on our Food Tour ( see our fb page 'Kim and Steve's uk Food Tour' ) to have Eton Mess in Eton. It was 😋 yummy! Would give an extra star if staff knew the historic content to why Eton Mess got its name.

Pub lovely and cosy, staff nice, but Food average doesn't warrant the prices they charge!! Veg was awful looked like it had sat around in kitchen all day!!! Shame really, won't be rushing back!

We popped in for the two for one cocktails on Sunday which I have to say were very nice. However, at about 19:00 as we went to order another, we were told that they were closing. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Really disappointed. Had an amazing roast here a back in October so decided to take our friends for a birthday lunch. Had the £20 mixed meat Roast. I don’t mind paying for quality but the beef had more fat than meat (three of us had to ask for different cuts but the replacements were still ropey at best),the chicken was anorexic and tough, the ‘roast’ potatoes were soggy and almost transparent and the gravy had the consistency of dish water. I made my feelings clear about my disappointment, yet the bill was brought over without discount. I wish we’d gone to The Palmer Arms.
