The food was excellent, I had the pork belly with apple sauce YUM! The restaurant itself was very clean and clutter free, great vibe and friendly welcoming staff :)

After my daughter's wedding in Santorini we arranged an afternoon buffet here for family and friends who were unable to attend the wedding in Greece. Well, the event was outstanding. The manager, Sharko (I hope I have spelt his name correctly) and his excellent staff delivered all that had been promised. The arrangement of the room was laid out to maximise guest interactions, the lighting was just right, the food was superly cooked and presented, and the atmosphere was divine.

All of our guests, about 75 in total , expressed how impressed they were with the level of service and hospitality.

It wasn't my first visit this restaurant and there will certainly be many more!

Absolutely fabulous experiences of the Exhibition Rooms both times I have been there. Once to host a 30th party for 70+ guests (the best party we've ever had) and the second time for a Sunday roast. Gorgeous food, and great conscientious staff! �����

100% recommend The Exhibition Rooms downstairs bar for a private function.

The space works really well. Enough seating, a dance floor, great covered (and heated) outside space - again with plenty of seating. My experience for planning our event from holding the date, ordering food, sourcing a DJ and decorating the bar went smoothly and without issue.

Huge thanks to the fabulous bar staff, Geoff, Sorrell and Martin the DJ for a great night.

We had a fantastic Sunday roast, I'm vege, and the vege Wellington made my day... Often vege options are terrible, but this was sublime. And it came with a free glass of wine- what's not to love?

The exhibition rooms is a lovely venue with great food, my only criticism is the starters, they are way too over priced

Food was very good, the starters are a bit pricey but very nice. Staff are very nice and mean well but need a bit more training in organisation and service. (Wine was served without tasting), could have had an extra member of staff to help. Much better than previous experience 6 months ago :-)

We really enjoyed going to the exhibition rooms when it opened. Unfortunately it has gone downhill since then. The food is nice, but the service is not, which is a shame. Was hoping for a better experience last night but unfortunately not to be. When we were finally acknowledged waiting at door we were pointed in the direction of 2 tables in the corner rather than being shown. So had to double check which one was actually what was meant. Service was so slow we left before dessert. Back to Joanna's or crystal palace market next time I think !

Went last night for work's christmas meal watered down coke sat for meal at 8pm got starter 8.45 main didn't come till 9.40 after numerous complaints dessert arrived 10.40 the meal it'self was no were near the money we paid for it will never be going there again service was sooooo slow

Went here for our Christmas do, would not recommend this place if more than 20 people are going, we had to wait a least an hour and a half for the starter, even though this was very tasty then had to wait nearly an hour again for our main meal they just couldn't cope even though we had booked up at least a week in advance with what people wanted to eat. I was quite disappointed.

I love the area of Crystal Palace and the best thing about Exhibition Rooms is the bar downstairs and Thursday nights which are great. But restaurant is overpriced for what it is. When I've left a restaurant still hungry after spending £75 for two people (without dessert) I know something is not right.

I like this place.Been coming here for a while now food is very good but last night we came for cocktails & to dance!!!

Only problem is unlike me & my group of friends the DJ never showed...as o said at the outset I really like the Exhibition rooms but I do feel they need to improve their game if they are going to survive-me & my friend KB arrived at 5.30 & were told the room downstairs would be ready by 6 So of course it wasn't lol!

Evanyualy we went downstairs about 9 & were then told the DJ was AWOL so we went over the road to a rival bar where the DJ had turned up-poor show ER poor show-hopefully next time your DJ will make an appearance & it will be worth our while hanging around & oh btw originally we were told cocktails at bogof ws 5.30-7.30 then that was changed to 7 bit odd...

Very poor service! Waited over an hour for main meal that was pre-ordered at time of booking, service far too slow even though restaurant was half full. Ordered steak, was lovely, but was served on its own, chips were served up (2 small portions between 4) when steak was almost eaten (approx 15-20mins later) Very annoying! Drinks were slow, over 20 mins waiting, but were nice. Very unorganised, staff need training on how to deliver a better service. Food is pricey for the service you get. Although it was tasty! Wouldn't go back though. Has potential to be great just service really lets this place down !

Service was slow and the staff had no customer service, 30/40 minute between courses and even when the food arrived it wasn't any better than the service. The starters were mediocre and the meat on both our main courses were dry and cheap cuts. The potatoes were swimming in fat and the vegetables where practically raw. When we complained they put it down to being short staffed. (Doesn't make up for the chef being a bad cook) still took another 20 minutes to receive the bill. Thankfully they took the main courses off the bill and we didn't dare stay for dessert. Would never visit again.

OMG you would die hungry waiting went there for NYE table for 4 booked for 8.30pm told table not ready go down to the bar to be told by the lad behind the bar don't ask me to do the drinks I'm not even the bar man so I laughed and went what is it help yourself night?? Shown to our table about half an hour later and Yeap we sat and sat and sat no drinks offered and we waited and waited for someone to take our order called a girl over to ask if we could order some drinks she looked at us like we were the thick ones and went I'll get someone to take it and we waited some more! 2 and a half hours later starter and main meal were not all that cold steak wrong steak I asked for medium got rare then chips turned up 5 minutes later while your waiting my husbands dish was meant to come with potatoes and his still waiting we walked out in total disgust would never go back staff were absolutely awful waste of space no people skills even had a guy scream at me as I went to the ladies as apparently I made him jump I mean seriously how I'm professional can you get ���so sum it up bad management useless staff cold food and a complete lack of care for there customers!!!

It all went pairshap the second we entered. They had no recollection of our booking. Eventually they squashed us in and we wee looking forward to our evening.

After twenty mins, we had to grab a waitress and request some drinks. Another 20 mins and we had to remind them about our drinks. 1.5 hours later, we got our starters, which were fine BUT after 2.5 hours, a lot of asking and complaining and promises received, we got our meals. This is my meal after waiting 2.5 hours and re-cooking. Raw Salmon inside and a floppy skin on top, not nice and crisp as expected. It cam back Microwaved, including the now cooked lettuce. Meanwhile,we watched as a table of four, walked out leaving their meal... without paying Been waited 3.5 hours and I must say it is the most disastrous meal that we have ever had. On receipt of the bill, we decided to refuse to pay and left £20, for a ruined evening.

Unfortunately, the manager took no responsibility, which I found unbelievable, saying it wasn't their fault that the kitchen/chef didn't do a good job! Sorry, who should take responsibility, if not the manager?

Such a shame as we have been here before a few years ago and it was great.

I am sorry, but on this performance, this place deserves to fail.
